Dean Dillon is one of my favorite songwriters of all time. He has a querky kind of writing style, I can pick out a song he has written just by the way it is written. ❤ I know his writing style very well.

There isn't a song if it weren't for the writers. There wouldn't be a King George without King Dean Dillion. The best writer of our time. He can make me cry with one line. Thank you for the memories. 💜

I lived and worked at Wrangler Horse Campground in Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky for several years. Dean Dillon and his wife at that time used to bring their horses and ride there at least once each year. He was a down to earth, very gracious man who invited many of the campers to his campfire each night to play and sing his songs for us. I also lived in Nashville for forty years and used to watch him at the Nashville Palace near Opryland when he first came to break into the music scene. He is one of the greatest and most prolific writers of ALL time.
