rickya13 I imagine they did most of that before the game was finished. They were likely modeling the entire world and later decided to put the boundary at that spot and put a bridge there. It doesnt have as much detail as the regular game plus it's mostly just a bunch of landscape with trees on it. It's not like it took an extra 3 months to add green slopes and trees to the game there. Probably took some guy 30 minutes to do. All the TES games are in the same "world" anyway, so part of having everything there is probably continuity from looking towards them from high peaks in Skyrim and I would imagine that all the subsequent games will use the same world as well, so they will likely revert back to these same topographical polygon maps as a base to make them. They probably just chucked in the same polygon map from Morrowind in there and added a little detail to make it look nice from a distance in Skyrim. Probably didnt actually take much time. They didnt even put in the lava flow trenches from what I can see. But yeah, there's a lot of reasons they might do this, first of all because it doesnt require very much effort and it helps immersion and it can be a useful base to build on for mods or subsequent games. That's my theory anyway.

Nice touch adding the morrowind music. I dont remember hearing the morrowind theme in Skyrim while playing (it may be there, and I may just be distracted by killing draugr's or whatever) so whether it's a mod, something you did, or just coincidence... it's still pretty cool. Morrowind is by far my favorite of all the TES games... brings back memories.

They should have a DLC were you can travel to every country in Tamriel like Valenwood and Hammerfell but it would be extremely laggy

I'd like to see someone go to the DLC solstheim, then go to Tel Mithryn (giant Mushroom) and swim to Morrowwind, seeing that it literally is in swimming distance. Might have to play in no clip mode or something. xP

Before you start people calling names, you should check your facts before you start 'correcting' people. First of all, it's spelled Cyrodiil. Second, Oblivion is another realm, and has nothing to do with hell. Third, a whole other team than the one that worked on Skyrim, is working on Elder Scrolls Online, so you're very wrong when you say that there will not be any Skyrim DLC, since there are already some released and still in the making.

You are wrong on #3. They (Bethesda) are indeed working on more DLC for Skyrim, it's their baby. Zenimax, Bethesda's parent company has a completely different team working on TESO. It's completely separate thing from he numbered series, set 1000 years before Oblivion.

The only reason I didn't play Arena is because I could barely understand what anything was,because of the graphics.

Old good games are still good games. I still play my NES while still enjoying newer games like Skyrim. Graphics aren't everything.
