My great-grandmother was a Whitworth and I grew up in the South. To understand the Civil War, it is important to understand the history of the machines used to defend the Confederacy back in those times. I can feel the skin burning at Antietam in this special sort of way... I can see the machines glowing in the flames. I can taste the ash and soot and metal as I listen to this fabulous song.

It’s what they should have done. Kept the show to ten seasons maybe less and do movies which they’ve already shown they can do a great job with. Pour all their energy into a couple movies each year or cpl years and then characters like J roc etc wouldn’t have to commit to full seasons but could be more cameo or when they needed them. Instead they just went for more seasons of what was a changed show. Similar to Ernest or cheech and Chong etc. people could have relied on a movie coming out every so often.
