I have the same problem, but mine blows air from the front only, and no other seting. I'm thinking about pulling the dash srround all together because the mounting tabs right below the windshield are broke and needs to be fixed anyway, I just don't know how to pull it out, doese anyone here know how? Thanks.

I helped it with my finger and got it unstuck and working again

I find CB mounting bolts and pens from clipboards left on the dash. They get into the defrost vents.

This is a common issue. I have found pens in the vent on multiple occasions.

Yes! Its was an obstruction (small bolt) that fell in the vent and made the vent not open to front ventilation. Always cover vents when changing a windshield.

Me too replaced windshield have no defrost now working on it

Update! found small glass in there, cleaned now works good
