It's a sign that no man can do anything without Christ Jesus our Lord. If we deny him publicly and cannot defend him on simple issues as our stance on LGBTQ+ , He (God) will not show up for us when we need him. We should understand that we have no reputation or integrity to protect except that which God gives us.
