here in philippines we have Ngohiong . specially in cebu city. they use Jicama and coconut kernel

For Home use, a better way to have more aroma out of the prawn heads is to let them ferment for 3 hours or more.. For commercial use, its not possible so they tend to use as many prawn heads as possible. Farmed prawn heads do not give a good taste, only wild ones is very good. You did not keep the pork ribs wet so its all dried out. Dried part is not nice. In the future use full size pork ribs and soup pork bones to make the pork broth to combine.

Thanks so much for the recipe. My 1st attempt was succeeded. My friends said really a 古早味glutinous rice. I didn't add any meat but turned out tasty also😊
