I first heard "Today" at a wedding of all places, and became obsessed with finding the song. Took me two years, as I was like 8 at the time and we didn't exactly have Shazam. This album made me obsessed with rock, with music, and the way it could make me feel. I liked music before that, but Siamese Dream hit a cord in me that was just different. The Smashing Pumpkins are my fav. band.

I just realized that Smiley inspired Rocket. Rocket was the first song Billy wrote for Siamese Dream - and they played an early version of it on the Gish tour when they stopped playing Smiley...hmmmmm
