That's Andy Ward (from Camel) on the drum kit, in the Garden Party session. Marillion & Fish: nothing can top that!

An awesome replacement band for what became the "Phil Collins Band", after Steve Hackett left Genesis. We pretty much dumped Genesis, when Marillion came along..lol. Met all the guys in person, (except for the first drummer), when they first toured the United States.

I used to think drugged out people were just whining until I became an addict to opiates and methadone. People..I do regret it. Withdrawal is horrible beyond words..they say you won't die , but believe me you wish you were gonna. With all my heart...stay away from it. it will turn you into a horrible person. It sickens not just your mind and body , but also your soul. I pray someone sees this , and is inspired to not indulge in disease. Amen.

Yeah, this is yet another one of the most underrated bands of all time!!! I mean, back when they were first heard of, I know that there were a lot of us who knew about them, and what very damn good albums they were putting out, and good of a band they were then, and especially as a 3 piece band, but it just always seemed to me like they didn't get the proper recognition they should have then, and all through the years clear up to now people for the most part have never paid much attention to them, or in most cases never have period!!! But Zebra folks!!! "HELL YEAH"!!! And just take a moment to hear what a damn good vocalist this guy named Randy Jackson is!!! And also one hell of a guitarist!!! And the other two members of Zebra definitely are no slouches either!!! Damn good rock music people!!! Ernie Wilber 🤘👹🤘✌️

The songwriting is why so many are saying “Zebra?” I’ve seen them compared to Triumph somewhere. Sorry, but Triumph had some unforgettable songs. That is the difference that means everything. That you might be couch-surfing the rest of your life. It’s a shame, really. I can see these guys as their town’s top cover band, never learning to compose, playing sharply and getting nowhere.

I’m beyond proud to say that I have gotten to know these guys and they are as nice as they appear! What you see on camera is how they are in person, as nice as they are talented and you know how much that is saying! I was there in New Orleans a few weeks ago too. I don’t know how Guy beats the drums that hard without being exhausted and Randy tears up the guitar without hardly looking down at the neck!

I remember when "Who's Behind the Door" came out. In a decade awash with meaningless fluff, that song stood above all that like a mountain. Can you believe all the hair bands that got so much attention while this band was nearly forgotten? It's so great to see them playing out and still killing it.

I like the demo that was recorded in 1978 at The Workshoppe even better than the one on the self-titled LP in 1983. Thanks for commenting!

Who's playing bass on Who's Behind The Door? Not seeing any foot pedals being used.

I am pretty confident that the bass notes for this song live are just coming from Felix Hanemann's keyboard setup.

I watched a performance from 2022 and I had to tap out on the 1st song. They played extremely well and tight but his god awful falsetto now was terrible.. It's natural to not be able to hit those notes in your late 70s but why not rearrange in a key you can sing in? Hell, people are showing up for a bad vocal performance so they'd still be there for a good vocal performance in a different key
@bryanpiggs3132 ай бұрын
I hear what you say and what you're hearing. Yes, I've also wondered about tuning it down for just sheer mileage on that falsetto by this point! You have to tour to stay vital and make $$$...his acoustic shows seem to highlight a tad mellower vocal approach.

He was either crying, slaving at the mill or throwing down 😂Another takedown missing here is the episode where the escaped prisoners hold Mary and Laura hostage at the blind school (just another day in Walnut Grove!). Pa *having just been shot* loses his shit all over one of them who was about to attack Mary.

I saw this as a kid and it was scary stuff. But as an adult I ended up becoming addicted to opioids for a lot of years.I have been through detox many times and I can tell you its no walk in the park.And ive detoxed off of different types of opioids over the years. Im now 52 years old and have been clean nearly six years and currently work in a rehab facility.Its something that can happen to anyone. This scene from little house was groundbreaking.. Unfortunately they dont show things in this manner these days out of fear it might trigger somone lol..But people need to see it, including kids..
