I have similar thoughts. The opening reminds me of Disorder, and I always felt that moist boy was influenced by Joy Division in some way. That Hooky bass is unmistakable! Additionally, I checked out Puzzle, and it turns out moist boy was also inspired by him.

@@zandermercury444 Yeah I immediately though of Disorder. Mainly makes me think of Puzzle's Soaring album. You should check it out. Never heard of Moist Boy before this video showed up in my recommended when it was 2 hours old. Are you a fan of his, posting his music on your channel?

@joels4826 , Yes, huge fan! Like numerous other musicians, I archived moist boy's tracks on my channel because I couldn't find them on KZbin. There's another archive of TEEN ZONE from 6 years ago, but it's all the songs in one video.

@@joels4826, It all started when I was binging Clairo's old bedroom pop one night. I stumbled across an early version of her song, How, that was reuploaded by moist boy. I entered their channel out of curiosity, and it turned out that they made their very own bedroom pop, alongside their close friend Casper Mcfadden. Also, the reason why I've been using they/them for moist boy is because in TEEN ZONE's Bandcamp description, gender neutral pronouns were used for the artist.
