unironically this is the only time i feel eggman has ever truly wanted to KILL sonic for good. so frustrated that sonic tore his dream (eggmanland) apart to shreds, and frustrated that despite tearing the world apart, draining the power from the emeralds, and being at the peak of his mech creations, sonic still persists on being the hero. every other game depicts him as a goober thats makes smart things but is deep down just a joke. forces for this reason sucked. minus the terrible gameplay, the story was so mid even tho it showed eggman taking over the entire planet. that game failed to realize the scope of things and when it tried to take itself serious it was just corny

I don't know sonic 06 Eggman is pretty threatening and serious along with the sonic adventure games I mean Eggman Literally blows the moon in half in the second one. He also helps to create pefect chaos to bring the world to complete destruction in SA1

The egg Dragoon should have been the final boss fight of Sonic forces, it would have been so much better than the Nega Wisp fight err Death egg chase fight.

When you realize this is an upgraded version of the mech Sonic had to use the chaos emeralds to escape from at the beginning of the story.

Then consider the fact the WEREHOG absolutely DESTROYED the upgraded version without the use of chaos emeralds. I think that shows just how powerful this form of Sonic really was.

@@vreikezen8268 i thought that the generations egg dragoon was the finished version of the prototype version in unleashed that was meant to counter the werehog idk what's up with the start of the game but i assumed the dragoon was built to get sonic to go super then was rebuilt to counter werehog but had to be used as a prototype and generations is the completed version of the werehog counter version and then forces made it clean up rocks in green hill

@@Calcited I think it always was meant to counter the hedgehog, eggman was probably scrambling to create a werehog-resistant version in unleashed after sonic unleashes

I prefer this version over the official one. I builds tension better due to the intro, just like the cutscene itself. I only with the intro part looped as well

The intensity of this boss fight and the dialogue seconds before hand makes you realize that this machine was simply made to murder Sonic, nothing more. Had Eggman not gave him the Wherehog ability, I do believe he would have actually been able to kill Sonic. As @mr valentine said best, Eggman was done with Sonic's bullshit and neither of them were pulling punches this time. And had it not been for Sonic's free-spirited philosophy, I feel he would have actually finished Eggman for good that time. I know I would have.

When you think about everything going on in this fight, it's just so awesome. Both Sonic and Eggman probably having their most intense fight ever, as they're both falling to the earth's literal core. Neither Sonic or Eggman pulled any punches in this fight. Eggman had enough of Sonic's shit and just wanted to kill him for good this time. While Sonic fought back by tearing the Egg Dragoon to shreds, and ripping Eggman out of the machine and throwing him into the distance. He seriously underestimated the Werehog.

i think that the egg dragoon was made for normal Sonic,not werehog.That would probably explain how werehog sonic teared the egg dragoon so easily.(also it's a prototype i guess so).

I think the cutscene would have been better with actual ost violin sequence with its fast percussion, instead of the cutscene track. Idk why the section from the cutscene isnt in the official ost track
