Seriously the cheapest Amazon ones. Like $29. Work great tho, I tried to do a hockey stop and high sided and no gear levers were damaged. Worked great!

Finally, THE video I been waiting for. The swap meet! the ride thru of the entire swap meet. It does not get any better than this. Almost as good as being there. To me this is Mid Ohio.

Most expensive, quiet helmets are still in the 100 decibel range, this seems like a poor substitute for actual hearing protection.

Mid Ohio one of the greatest events ever...this year I wasn't able to go and was looking forward to a great video, even though we feel let down, we are still glad everyone else had a blast....

Yeah, I was a bit over whelmed at the amount of people who came up to us. I didn't;t want to be like "Thanks for showing up, I gotta go" And honestly, I have been foilming Mid Ohio for many years, and I really missed enjoying it! I do have some burnout 360 footy coming shortly... and a 360 Swap Shop run!

What an awesome event! All the best ones are more about the people than anything! The bikes just bring us together. Got to meet a few new people over at the ClevelandMoto FEMA camp and reconnect with a bunch of people I hadn't talked to in a long while. Good times as always!

Getting the in ear monitors that you mentioned but selecting the usb c ones as I have a newer iPhone. Is there an amp like the one you mentioned that accepts usb c?

I have a number of Vessel JIS screwdrivers, my favourite is the impacta which doubles as an impact driver. The only downside is if using it on live electrical(household) circuits the current will be conducted to the back of the driver as well... There are better choices for electric work
@MotoStoriesandmore6 күн бұрын
The impact drivers are worth their weight in gold if you have OLD bikes. That pop/snap is almost like therapy to me.

thumbs up for the ride, thumbs down for the same verse on repeat for over 2 minutes, flashback to my childhood when the record would start to skip but i wasn't allowed to touch the record player.

Yeah, I didn't notice that because I was only playing little clips to edit it. I was rushing to get a vid up because I have hell week WI h work, mid Ohio prep and loading up 8 bikes. This was 100% my fault. I will make myself lf watch 2 bachelor's in penance.

JIS all the way. My dad had a massive stroke, but has recovered incredibly well - so my mom and I bought him a little Kawasaki KE100, so that he could do some riding again, since full sized bikes are a bit too heavy and unwieldly for him now. There was a lot wrong on that bike that the punks I bought it from hid on it, so the screws and bolts were for from the worst problem, but they were definitely one of the problems. They had massacred the bolt and screw heads so badly, I needed bolt extractors to get some of them out. I replaced them all with torx bolts, but having a JIS driver did make the whole process a lot better than it would have been otherwise.

I grabbed a set of these awhile ago after hearing about them on the podcast. I do not have any old Japanese bikes, but these really come in hand for any Phillips screw that needs some extra bite.. Good stuff.

RV90 Motor!! I'll be riding my RV 90 around Mid Ohio! You have any parts for them for sale? I'll try to swing by your guys spot. I'll be at the top of row FF in the swap meet.

I found out about JIS screwdrivers several years ago. Finally it was clear to me why I always stripped brake reservoir cover screws. Vessel brand is my go-to. I really like the Impacta line.

On my 1999 toyota camry, jis has been a lifesaver. Sometimes they work better than factory. Not always, but man, they are uually tight when a p2 is loose from wear.

@@MotoStoriesandmore So seriously, the podcast covered this some time ago and mentioned the Vessel JIS impact screwdrivers. Basically you hit the head with a hammer and the driver will reverse. I bought some and can say they are now a must in the toolbox. Basically whacking helps get the JIS off. Oh that is terrible....I can't help myself. Amazon has them. Just search Vessel JIS Impact. Great video.
@MotoStoriesandmore16 күн бұрын
@SplitHairz yep, I still need the impact JIS drivers. Awesome tool.
