I have an IS 500 2024 in incognito, great car! in my opinion it’s definitely slightly better all around then a 340i but not quite M3 level (preforming wise) somewhere in between, but best looking sedan in any class great review!

So much BS. One moment the Cadillac VP is talking about affordability and then he goes on to wax poetic about the Celeste, a $350,000 vehicle. As a Lyriq owner new to the Cadillac brand, I would much rather the he stop talking about how great the technology is in the cars and CONCENTRATE ON MAKING THAT TECHNOLOGY FUNCTION RELIABLY. Ask him to check the Cadillac forums and he will find that making your luxury car customers be essentially beta testers for software that controls the vehicle was a terrible decision. It has driven even longtime brand loyal and new to the brand customers swear they will never again buy a GM product in general and a Cadillac specifically. If John wants to talk to me to really hear from a customer, I would be happy to discuss my experiences with him at his convenience.

Some correction. It does not compete with the M3 at all. It is supposed to compete with the 340i, TLX Type S, Audi S4, Kia Stinger GT etc. It makes the car feel right in line with them in terms of value for dollar. That is why it is much cheaper because it does not have all of the track-oriented hardware. The suspension, chassis, brakes, tires, wheels etc. are totally suited for street driving. It has a lot of body roll and softness everywhere for the track and the brakes and transmission cannot handle the abuse on the track without overheating. I have an RCF CF TVD and have driven the IS 500. The differences even without pushing them hard are very stark.

What a great entry performance entry into the Lexus performance segment. Let me tell you, Suspension, some coolers with exhaust this is an amazing car for its segment. If you need a 4 door performance sedan before you get that 340i....check this out it's a great alternative that you will want to rev out again and again!! I was shocked at its performance!!

I could see paying $800,000 for a C1 Corvette that was all original, but if you're going to put a modern motor in it, you're probably going to need modern brakes and at that point you should have just built a kit car
