Not all stations will let you repair or reload weapons, but yes I'm always keeping an eye on ship integrity

I do not have a PC and do not plan to get one, so yes, I was thinking of resetting my primary game account. I actually have a 2nd account setup up. It just doesn't have a PSN account with it. Since I like to play remotely on my cell phone occasionally, too, while watching TV with my family, the 2nd account would not allow that. Idk, I'm just trying to weigh my options. I suppose I could just reset my 2nd account again since I don't have much progress invested in it. Only 1 power play weapon, a pre-engineered class 5 FSD, and 2 engineers unlocked.

Can I get your opinion? I've been playing Elite Dangerous on console (PS4) for years now, roughly 2500hrs. Due to the "new" game casting out console players, I have very little to look forward to. I already have a fleet carrier, and I have all the ships I will probably ever want. Grant it, not all of them are completely engineered, but still. I am Elite in trade and exploration, and I have only 16% left to get to Elite in combat. So.....the question/opinion: Should I reset my save and start completely start over? I LOVE this game, and will likely keep playing it until Frontier shuts down the servers, but was always better when I had goals. I am a huge fan of your ED content and any guidance would be appreciated. o7!!

Something I would recommend to all new CMDRs (or old ones looking for a new home) is to watch several videos like this and cross every entry off of your list. Not that these suggestions are bad, these stations are on a list because they’re popular and they’re popular for a reason granted but it’s nice to have some quiet when you head home and not have to run the gauntlet just to dock. I’d highly recommend trying to find one on your own as it’s very gratifying to find a station that has the amenities you want without being told where to look. If I’m headed to my home station I know that no matter what gamemode I’m in I can fly to my station unimpeded as I’ve only ever seen one other CMDR in the 2 years I’ve lived there and he completely ignored me. Though I must confess I mostly live on my carrier now, just so easy to bring home with me wherever I may need it.

Black holes are kind of let down in this game. I understand that the game probably cannot render all the debris and stuff that would be sucked into the black hole but it would be cool to actually be able to fall into the black hole

This is why you need a Fleet Carrier when out in the black far from any station. Only 6000 tritium and 100k per jump seems a very small price to pay.

No discussion of how broken the login system is, hundreds of people asking every year about why they can’t login into elite. type “ Elite Dangerous login failure” into Google.

In other games, PvP born people first shot then communicate. in Elite Dangerous, they first communicate. There is a magic behind this "game".

I played months with your same setup as for L1\B+ R1\B.. Alternate flight controls.... Then I realized! What a waste of keybind!! Ls(3) and Rs(3) strafe left and right. When landing gear is deployed, it automatically goes to L and R strafe left and right as I don't need L R for hardpoints. Whatever you think it's necessary to put on LS and RS (L3 and R3), you can put it on any A-B-Y-X or PS relatives, PLUS d-pad directions. Then you also have Lb+directions and Rb+directionals. Then you also have Rb-Lb + A-B-Y-X .... etc...etc.. Lastly, for me RS+LS is boost. With some creativity, I totally erased the need to have the alternate flight controls.
