When you're working on a round piece, it helps a lot if you roll up a couple of clothes and lay one down on each side. It keeps the piece steady while you work, good to know for what you did here and also if you're stamping. The DIY dirt works well but I would have used a dark wax on the rest of the vase, it would have given it a more aged look.

I'm not sure I agree with you. Lowline cattle have been bred for many positive characteristics. While my boy is obese, we in no way are setting this breed back.

I need a globe if you're What Notting and find one inexpensive! I've tried finding one and no luck on What Not yet. I can't get out at I'm severely disabled, can't drive, and rarely leave the house, so what not has been such a Blessing to me❤❤❤

You can also get bacteria in your paints and waxes if you dip your brush directly into the container. Trust me, I've had it happen. It stinks to all get out and you'll see mold in it. That particular brand is all natural, so there are no preservatives or anything to keep that from happening. It's best just to put it in a separate container each time you use it, like she stated....

I've been lucky (and that's all I can say it was... Luck!) but I'm always trying to hurry and not doing the right thing. I'll take the time to always use the separate container so I don't contaminate it!! 😬

I'm doing the "happy dance," because I just paid $70, yes SEVENTY Dollars on a 1940's vintage suitcase in order to make myself an end table for next to my creative space chair. I am going to use the cow skulls and script out of the IOD Desperado transfer, along with the tribal trim type transfers in the same book, a set of boho floral transfers by Prima to make head dresses for the skulls, and a mud cloth stencil to add more tribal elements. Can't wait to see yours, because I ALMOST went with the exact same transfer book. Is that crazy or what!? I'll comment after I see what you come up with ❤ they rocked and I LOVED THE TRAIN CASE! CRACKS MADE IT LOOK EVEN BETTER❤❤❤

What a transformation so rugged now that's farmhouse can get more farmhouse than a really rugged look the colors are so beautiful . Humm I've never had problems with Das clay and it's always in good ole English i get mine at hobby lobby . Anyway I hope you are feeling better 🙏

It was worth the SAVE!! You did a wonderful job restoring it. I use the Das clay and have never had an issue with it, but I've never used the grey color only the white. Hope you are feeling better. Happy Easter
