I was hoping for a "full deep dive" into MC Dresser as the title thought it would include as well, since that is the only one I don't understand. My goal is to make a clone of a sim I have but a fresh start sim with no stats, skills, or traits. Just as a backup since I accidentally deleted the fresh copy CAS makes. I have 5 outfits fine crafted for every opportunity so copying them over manually to a clone is so tedious. But I just don't understand MC Dresser.

Hi! I had to look up this scenario because to be honest I would also not know how to do this. You can copy paste certain things like make-up and accessories but from what I can find the thing you want to do (copy whole outfits to another sim) that is not possible. If anyone in the comments does know please feel free to correct me but for now I don't think this is possible

Watching this episode reminded me of a comment I once made to a friend about what playing the Sims was like. It's basically 30% making plans that don't work out, 20% building or editing your house and/or sims (a lot more for some, but I'm not a huge builder myself), 30% fixing bugs and glitches or using cheats to fit the story or just to fix the game and only 20% actually playing the game. This episode was pretty much the epitome of that, lol.

Thank you. My sister got me all the packs and I've been so overwhelmed and wanted to play a pack at a time. Ik James wouldn't be malicious so ik this was safe. Ik this video is 2 years old but if anyone sees this can I safely add them back on the same save?

Yes you can add them back!! 😊 Just know that if you disable them in a save where previously used all the items from the disabled pack will be gone!

RIP Elliot! The infant/toddler delay for bathing or feeding is still really bad, maybe even as bad as this, i am looking for mods/ways to fix it or make it better if anyone knows of any? :)

I have a couple of mods in my game that should already help with this (all listed on my website thats linked under all my videos) but as you can see they don't fix the problem entirely..

I'm curious how the population percentage system works. like if i put adults at 60% would that mean i have to distribute the 40% remaining amongst elders, children, toddlers, etc.? What would happen if i tried puting them all at 50% for example? i have no clue how that all functions.

To be completely frank with you, I'm not a 100% sure. I only know what is explained in the mod and on the website of the creator. It seems to work the way you described but I don't know if that is actually the case so don't pin me down on it haha

I've played on the same save for many years, probably four or five at least. I create a new sim almost every time I get back into the game and frequently see old sims walking about as I play with both long lifespans and no aging traits for specific sims. I just get too attached.

I'm looking into getting MC command center as a fairly new sims player, so this was really helpful. I do wonder, how often on average do I need to update MC command? I tend to forget I need to update mods...

MCCC breaks with almost every big update. Like small patches are usually fine but every single time a pack comes out or a big basegame update is released MCCC needs updating. Together with UI cheats, TOOL and BetterBuildBuy this is a mod that I have on my “always check” list after an updated. The creator almost always updates it within like 24h though!

Thanks! 🥰 to answer your question- I will not do a review on those. I played them originally when I was like 5-8 years old and for very limited time (yay for restrictive parents lol). So I would not be able to compare them nor feel the nostalgia. I also feel like reviewing is not my strong suit. I love to share, teach and showcase but reviews are not really my style. Lastly I personally don’t think I’m interested in playing the games enough to even be able to review them. I have have gotten codes for both the games through the ea creator network and I might live stream them for yolo at one point but I don’t plan on actively playing them. Hope that makes sense 😊

If it helps you.. I grew up playing sims 1 (mainly 2) from the age 10-14 until sims 3 came out and then 4. I got sims 2 on Friday and I ended up getting a refund the next day before the 24 hour cutoff because although it was nostalgic, I just couldn't get past the graphics, the aesthetic and the build/buy modes, also the limitations for creativity, I just wasn't having fun playing it and couldn't wait to get back to my sims 4 families ❤

Late to the party with this challenge but love the idea of it. I always plan out my legacies and note down the story as I go. My starter sim is called Marissa Oakes and the backstory so far is her father raised her by himself when her mother passed away when she was younger. She moved away for college but once her father dies she decides to move back to her family home and take over where her father left off. Can’t wait to get stuck into this challenge!

Unfortunately if they don’t answer themselves there is nothing I can do. As a creator I’m even further away and I just included them in a review. I have no control over their work and how they handle their (potential) customers. I’m can imagine it’s super frustrating that they don’t respond ♥️

Do you mean the mods folder in your documents folder or the entire sims 4 folder? If it’s the first the you can just start up the game and you should get a new one automatically. If it’s the second then you need to reinstall the game

I'm about 2.5 years late, stumbling onto this massive let's play, but I'm glad I did. I manage to watch about one video a day, usually right before going to work, so it'll take me a long ass time to catch up, especially because I notice you're still adding onto it, but what the hey, it's a great watch. Am I the only one going in circles trying to find the actual link to the CC? I got to the description where it says "Links from video" and when I click it, it sends me to the Notion page where there are only videos to click on. When I click on the video it sends me back here. Am I missing something? Please help.
