To complete the question is it Adam or Abel that was Lute singing with them its Adam and we can tell from the voice of the song alone that its Adam and Lute singing. Lute also experienced hallucinations of Adam and at the end of the song(i saw the leak clip) Is Adam dissappearing and also i love the song❤

1:00 So who is Lute talking about in this lyric. Assumably Lute would want revenge on Vaggie, but Lute is speaking as if she is talking about the figurehead of the whole operation, in other words, Charlie. Lute is clearly referring to whoever she is talking about watching their girlfriend die, therefore it must be one of those 2. With that in mind, it’s somewhat more likely that Lute is going to make Charlie watch her kill Vaggie but I feel like since Lute is talking and she has more of a personal vendetta against Vaggie, that would mean Lute is planning on finding someway to kill Charlie in front of Vaggie. While that makes more logical sense for Lute, to have her torture Vaggie and breaking her spirit, it is also likely impossible for her to even figure out a way of going about that plan. Lute should know it would take a lot to try to physically hurt Charlie even a little bit much less kill her. That would imply Lute is going to try to kill Vaggie in front of Charlie, which makes sense logically speaking, but thematically speaking, Lute wanting to torture Charlie by unceremoniously killing Vaggie does not make sense for Lute’s character, since all of this pent up bloodlust for revenge on Charlie doesn’t really make sense for her character as she is personally far more passionate about her hate for Vaggie than Charlie. The line of “The ONLY soul who’s ever completed you” makes me feel like it’s Vaggie she’s talking to again, since she knows Vaggie and that nobody else compares to Charlie in her mind, whereas Lute would not feel so angry to throw a line like that out towards Charlie specifically, especially when even she knows that the comment wouldn’t be accurate as Charlie has many people close to her whereas Lute knows that Charlie is the ONLY person that close to Vaggie. I think I have convinced myself that Lute is going to try to kill CHARLIE somehow Oh my

I think she talking about revenging Charlie by killing Vaggie. “You think you hell’s great savior. Will you stay when I return the favor” She clearly refers to Charlie. And then in “taking one you need, make you watch them bleed, will break knowing you couldn’t save her” she talks about killing Vaggie to make Charlie feel the same pain Lute feels because of losing Adam

This begs the question of how Adam is back Is he a sinner, because based on how little he is singing here, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that this is just some illusion of Adam that Lute concocted in her head through a reflection in a mirror or something just to vent her frustration.

Ever since 'Welcome to Heaven' I've been hoping for a Lute song. I mean she showed us that she's a very good singer, (Of course she is, I mean come on! Jessica Vosk played Elphaba from Wicked for three years!) so it surprises me that she didn't provide back up or anything for 'Hell is Forever' with Adam. What's cool here is that HE'S providing backup for HER.
