Shin was a result of human destruction and probably nuclear warfare, hence, he is an emblem of anti nuclear ever since 1954, and the bikini atoll tests. However, shin was mutated from a sub aquatic marine species that was exposed to nuclear waste, probably from Fukushima or somewhere else. Shin was in pain and attacked Tokyo as some way to make it go away. It’s sad that some people don’t understand the concepts and the true meaning of Godzilla. Growing up, I soon realized that shin’s powers weren’t gifted, it was an accident and never supposed to happen. He just wants to end the pain but as said before constant evolution prevents him from.

Growing I also realized, shins powers are probably, as I thought of it, a “curse.” Shin is in agony, and remember when his gills threw up blood when he entered Japan as kamata kun. He was cursed to constantly evolve, and the pain just won’t stop. Shin was attacked by his own creators. And if shin had the ability to speak, then humans would really understand “Please, pain, stop, please help me” -shin if he could talk
