Have owned my 2020 Sailfish for 4 years. This boat is awesome. It is used for nearshore fishing. I can pull away from some of the larger boats in a choppy head sea. Most folks think a Sailfish is limited on speed due to the 24 degree VDS. Look folks, if you have it set up right, you can get it up on the pad, and it will fly. My 220CC will hit 64 mph. Mine is the exception to most, however.

Horrible deck design in the stern. Fishing off the back with all of that molded in elevated seating???! Talk about no room.
@Georgia4Low

I see that stern area as being a large fishing platform/deck once the cushions are removed assuming it will have them. Also I like the "hybrid" style of this boat, fishing, cruising, and sand bar hopping. I don't think this is a dedicated fishing boat either.

Love my 220 CC but would consider this for the layout, access and the 250. The only thing missing is dedicated tackle storage.

Is there much difference in hull design from a 2015 275DC and a current one? I’m interested in one, but have read a lot of people claiming it’s a wet ride.
@sailfishboats
@sailfishboats Жыл бұрын
The 276 DC is built on the current 6th generation VDS hull. A difference between the 275 and 276 hull design is the beam has been carried further forward to enhance stability while on plane.

Good video..need to go for a ride especially on the variable deadrise 24, 23 and then 22 bottom vs another boat I am comparing it to which is a straight 24 degree..31 Albemarle. The new design Sailfish looks beautiful especially with the windshield touching the top and I like the additional pull-down seats in the rear for the time we have extra people.

So what are the main differences between the 320CC and this one? Also, being a Sailfish owner myself, I was looking forward to seeing the wiring behind the hatch of the console. For the rest, great looking boat!

Beautiful design, I love the different layers as explained for a smother ride. But tell me how's he broaching in a following sea. I'm in Africa and we have massive swells and not many boats here that don't broach. I'm going to be looking at a boat from the US as I see the passion that you guys have in your manufacturing, the finishes and right up to the last detail

How do y’all recommend running the 220cc. Mine doesn’t react much to positive engine trim and bow steers pretty bad crossing wake from adjacent boats.
@sailfishboats
@sailfishboats 2 жыл бұрын
Hello friend! The 220 requires as much positive engine trim the boat can handle and no tabs. Try only one hit of the tabs. And, there will be some bow steer at low RPM because of the hull deadrise at entry.

The folding center console access door would never stay closed on my new 2021 220CC. It WAS very aggravating to have it fly open and slam against the inner side of the boat. Scared the crap out of me every time. I had to install a separate SS aftermarket latch just to keep it from slamming open. Hopefully Sailfish will take my feedback and fix this problem.

The person who designed the hull of my 2021 220 CC knew his stuff. I especially like the design because Sailfish designed a pad on the keel instead of having a total deep v. My boat gets up on the pad around 40 mph and it will top out at almost 60 mph WOT with a Yamaha 4.2 SHO. I also really appreciate the design of this new hull as it directs the spray downward. Seaworthy design as I recently stayed on plane for 25 miles doing 18 mph in true 4-5 ft close interval head seas. This is the best center console rig I have ever owned and economical too.

Has everything except performance. What’s the deal with the sub 200 mile endurance that Boat Test got with twin 150s? If twin 150s neuters the performance why even offer these motors? 177 gal tank should get a 400+ mile endurance on a boat this size.

While I like my Sailfish 2660 and it rides very good, I'd love to see how Sailfish is measuring the various hull angles. According to my measurements of the final step at the keel/transome, the deadrise is closer to 18 degrees, not 24. Not that I care because my boat rides extremely well, albeit a little wet.
