Can you blame the Fremen for succumbing to this? Even if you never believed the superstitions, you’ve heard about them all your life. Superstition that existed since your grandparents were children. And now the culmination of those stories is standing right there, doing EXACTLY what the stories said.

Based on the current situation of the book and the movie, it's either being led to war by a leader to fight back against the Empire colonial regime or be enslaved.
@kyendan14 күн бұрын
In its complexity, humanity seeks to find a leader to bear the burden of its decisions. Nobody can bear this level of responsibility, yet weaker minds still believe that a leader will arise and solve all their problems in exchange for their freedom of will.

This was an impressive culmination moment for the whole thing. I love it that they did it mostly in Chakobsa - there's something so much deeper where it is in the original language and not translated to English. "The One Who Points the Way" - Muad'Dib, and he starts by saying that, just so powerful. The movie captured the religious fanaticism very well, after I read the original I could understand religious fanatics in real life, even if I don't agree with them all.
