Hello! Is it rng whenever boss leaps at you or not? I've been practicing in normals and sometimes, while standing really close or inside the boss and it still leaps at me. I even had it leap 4 times in a row which killed me on a solid run (was on last phase). Also your in-game nickname brought back some fond memories.

As of now, it is partially random. That being said, Wyvern is LESS LIKELY to leap when you're in close proximity, but it does sometimes happen regardless. Wyvern is a heavy rng dependant boss. I've done runs way better and way worse than this one

@@alimoorad5998 Ghost King is definitely the one I'd learn first. Skeleton Warlord is the fastest once you get the hang of him tho

Mhm, Warlocks were circling and hellfire spamming it far before this, but you could definitely parry it as well.

I love the content, but I remember forming huge groups when the wyvern first came out and you NEEDED 4 people to activate it. Really wish they had designed this boss so it couldn't be solo'd. Watching you stick your face down its throat to avoid the spit makes me... not *angry*, but maybe, fills me with consternation? xD

I've optimized Lich to be closer to 2:30-3:00 instead of how long it was here, planning on redoing this eventually, fingers crossed before the end of the month

Been a while since I’ve seen random spawn portals and the zone. Escaping from inferno was pretty dicey back then especially if you spent a ton of time killing boss.

No, but it gets bonus 10% action speed and +800 HP, so it's a longer kill and you have less time to react and punish each attack

@@Isaax yes! HOWEVER: the orb can still deal AOE explosion damage to you, so you need to be moving left and parry it with the tip of your longsword in order to take no damage

Depends on which boss. Lich requires far lower movement speed, it'd be really hard to be slow enough to the point you're getting hit unironically. Ghost King you need a bit more to dodge the teleport attack. Warlord, if you're blocking/parrying in normals, can for the most part be blocked without much ms. In HR it's a different story though

Fuckin badass and very helpful, I really want to solo this guy as Fighter to get the Tavern Keeper questline done. I'm using a recurve bow instead of a crossbow, hopefully I can keep it ranged-only, but your sword use seemed pretty safe and consistent too. Wish me luck
