@@AcuraTSX-nv5zr I like Audi‘s system S- line = m package = amg line S = M340,440,540 = a35, c43, e43/53 rs = M = Amg M and AMG need a sub division, Audi‘s names make the most sense… I don‘t like Audi tho, i have a c63. but gotta admit, merc and bmw make less sense.

@@markov3043 I get you Mark, I own a 53 and it's nothing like the 63 I had or an M but it does drive better then my uncle's old man E400. That said it's still a poor man's AMG and has been a fun car to own.

I'm 2 years late to the party but thanks for the video. I purchased my E53 a year and a half ago. Always wondered what it sounded like outside of the car. I'm changing my exhaust this weekend to something that will give me a little more crackling on the downshift and more growl on the acceleration.

@@michaelg.1079 I made the switch without doing a before video. I didn't change to an aftermarket or Brabus, I ended just during a muffler delete and straight pipe. Here is a link for a guy that did the same thing and my car sounds just like his now. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZPKcn14jNhsf7s

@Timeyin Sholaye luckily no codes popped up. However, we did stop the cuts just after the mufflers and did not go all the way to the catalytic which is why I think no codes came up.

Hi Dev. The 53 AMG doesn't come with a Performance exhaust.

@@mikethung probably performance one. Mine GLE 53 sounds the same as on video with performance exhaust, but I have seen other GLE 53s that don't sound like mine

@@mikethung Sorry, the E 53 AMG doesnt. At least not on the pre-facelift, its true the GLE 53 does.
