The reason to choose a Nautitech above the comfort of let's say Fountaine-Pajot, Lagoon, etc. is that with Nautitech you give up some comfort, but you get back better performance. Especially because of this, it's too bad that you didn't go into PERFORMANCE numbers with real life examples etc. Now it's just a smaller space compared with the other brands, without clarity on what you actually GAIN in performance numbers.

June 25, 2023, we stood in the empty hull #1 of the Nautitech 48 Open and fell in love with this boat. In the meantime, we have sailed an N40 Open (too small) and an N46 Open (havy and slow). We plan to sail around the world in the foreseeable future. We are looking for a boat that can be sailed by two people, like a 48 Open version mainsail with a furling boom. A furling mast or furling boom is interesting, but it has to work 100% reliably and be solved if problems arise on the open sea. We are open to professional suggestions !

We just had a nice sailing week in Croatia on a 2016 N46Open with new set of sails. Wind was 28 kt. And the boat reached 12 kt Vmax in the 2 reef. We are looking forward to testsail the N44Open and the N48Open this summer. Eager to figure out how easy and fast a crew of two can handle them.

We also have El Gaucho, a Nautitech Open 40. After 27 000, 3/4 of the world tour, we are still in love with this boat. Everything you say remains true after 3 years 😃!!

The helms actually separate the helm person from the rest of the boat, and the visibility is low and not very good. Make an Outremer 52 style helm.

Bonjour, après avoir regardé toutes les vidéos sur la genèse de l'open 44, je pense que celle-ci correspond au mieux pour poser des questions "techniques". Comment le mat est relié à la "terre" en cas d'orage (et de foudre) ? Avez-vous un retour sur le bruit émis par les safrans lors d'une croisière sous voile ? Le pilote est-il redondé ? Une version propulsion électrique pourrait -elle voir le jour ? En tout cas, merci super travaille de présentation.
