Pour savoir la tessiture d’une personne on se base sur sa voix parlée, sur sa tessiture de belting à où elle est le plus à l’aise et où sa voix a un meilleur rendu. Les graves et les aigus complètent juste la tessiture vocale. Moi même étant un homme je suis baryton ce qui signifie que je suis à l’aise dans les graves down to Eb1 et je maîtrise également le whistle up to A6 mais ça ne fait pas de moi un baryton ou un ténor Par contre ma tessiture belting se situe entre le C4 et le A4 Ma voix parlée est grave et c’est elle qui détermine ma classification. Tina est à cheval entre le contralto et le mezzo-soprano dramatique, avec des extrêmes vocaux dans les basses et les aigus

Her voice is difficult to classify just like many other old-time singers. Her voice spans from contralto to mezzo-soprano with great dexterity in both ranges and can be anything between the two. Maybe if she was classically trained, it would have been easier to determine where she fits the most. I'm leaning towards mezzo-soprano.

True Dramatic Contralto and Dramatic Mezzo Soprano singer example is here. I'm proud of Tina for being Tina and has now found her true calling. One of the best vocals that everybody needs to learn.

Mezzo is alright. Dramatic Contralto is the rarest of them all and that's the type that would be comparable to low Tenor or even Baritone. They would be beyond androgynous. Despite nodules Tina's tessitura is already high, a Contralto can't do that without going into head voice much earlier because they basically have male vocal folds.

She isn't a dramatic mezzo. Anastacia is . Dramatic mezzos have a cavernous voice . Tina sounds like a lyric mezzo with some natural raspiness.

@@XxQueenChristinaxX Erm, not really. A dramatic contralto's voice resembles that of a lyric tenor. A regular contralto like Cher can belt out F5s and Coloratura contraltos like Annie Lennox can even hit some D6s in head voice So it really depends on the contralto.

@@lougomes2912 Anastacia isn’t a Dramatic (or) Mezzo-Soprano lol. There are few recordings of her singing with her natural timbre and tone. I used to think she was one like most here but at this point in time, I’ve studied enough to know better. I’d even write my first reply differently.

People think pretty much everyone is lol. Adele, Amy Winehouse, Toni Braxton, etc. If you sound darker and have lows then you get the label.

I've checked this and it seems that most of many popular sites about vocal ranges/voices confuses her with a contralto. That's unbelievable but I'm sure that Tina is not an exception.

He hit F#7 in hv? Its not possible , even highest coloratura sopranos cant sing in hv above C7... and she a low mezzo. There were whistle exclamations

I guess she just hits it - it's not a classic singing, so hitting higher and lower notes is much more easy. She had many short whistles and weird sounds like this - even to A7, but I didn't put it here because it's not her vocal range anymore.

She has a very deep and yet EXTREMELY high vocal range. Especially when she was younger. Dont know if it's TRUE, but many have said since her stroke, she has a hard time reaching above D-E5 notes. Sad. Such a talent

Yes, she is for sure. Her low register is full, dark and pretty huge. In upper chest register she uses very much nasality or overdrive to cover it, to hit high notes very easly and to get more lability - she uses it very smart. Beside all of this her voice still could break through all guitars and instruments. Her head register has the volume, sometimes a little covered by using many vocal tricks, making it very light and sharp or more labile. If you listen to her natural voice near the classic like 14:32 and her middle register without so much nasality or any huge vocal effects you can hear the volume - that's the main reason so many people is misleading her for being a contralto. The other thing is that during collecting all Tina's records I found many notes where Tina sounds exactly the same like Nina Hagen or Aretha Franklin - two very different dramatic mezzo sopranos.

Dramatic Mezzos aren't loud 24/7, js. Tina doesn't fit any other voice type at all, and she's too light to be a true Contralto.

@@darrianmcneil3481 Lyric Contraltos are only relatively light according to their Fach, but if you compare one to a light Mezzo or light Soprano then they wouldn't be considered so. Lyric Contraltos have a darkness that's throughout their entire range and are often androgynous in the lower region of the voice. Dramatic Mezzos and Lyric Contraltos sound very similar so it's easy to confuse them. Tina's middle and upper registers are quite telling of her voice type. She had more ease than a Contralto could hope to have in the 5th octave.Tina's also not a Lyric voice. She has more qualities of a Dramatic Mezzo than a Contralto.

As always it is a very hard question. Based on this video her supported range is around A2-C6, but this is questionable.
