Sounds like the heat of the Arizona sun has burned their brains. Acid rock/doom metal/stoner psych. Heavy duty stuff. They released a single titled "Over My Shoulder" 1971. Never heard this one.

Intro sounds sort of slavic inspired? Like first ten seconds or whatever. Rest sounds like Soul Music kinda with some chinese shit thrown in. Great stuff.

Came looking for this as I'm reading Mike Wade's 'Hole in my Pocket ' about the talented Mickey Jupp. This is pleasant.

Thanks for posting. I've been looking for the lyrics of this song for long, but I haven't found anything, anywhere. The two voices with the filters are so difficult to me (or my poor level of english) to be understand clearly, and I would like to cover this song with my bandmates.

Great "running" bassline (ala Lemmy). Intense/hectic guitar riffs. Crisp and exacting percussion. Great vocals. Ian Gillan got involved -- brilliant Bally Tallyho!

Just like a song I heard yesterday -Skip Bifferty I think- it sounds like a crossroad between beat, soul beat / mod beat / white r&b, prog(gish) rock, and soulful jazzy art rock (BST or early Chicago), with a just a bit of spaghetti western flavour. Not prog or 70s rock-jazz, maybe proto prog, but definitely closer to orchestral pop like "Jackie" by Walker Brothers or "She's a lady" by the soulful Welsh Tom Jones.

Thank you for posting this. A former colleague burnt a CD of this album for me a few years ago as I never had the good sense to buy the album when it first came out. I saw them twice: once in the fall of 1971 at the Trevose Heights Rescue Squad building and again in the spring (?) of 1973 at Neshaminy HS. Even as a 13-14 year old, I appreciated what these guys were doing. It's a scandal that they never made it.
