@@Mrbigbodytruck it was an Eaton M90 from a Thunderbird Superchicken. The stock intercooler didn't with the truck, so I went air to water.

@todds5956 the machine shop (J&K Machine in Gainesville Florida) that built the motor screwed it up big time. The mains were way too tight. The motor ate itself before it's first oil change (not the break in oil change, the first one after that). The mains feed oil to the heads so my Comp Blower cams were destroyed the heads were destroyed. I was able to salvage the crank, rods and pistons. I got a new block and started over. I traded the car for a Fox with a 331 and a turbo before the new combo was tuned.

This particular setup is a Frankenstein. It's a 4.2 block, supercoupe crank/rods/pistons, ported split port heads, mustang lower intake and windstar upper intake. So it's only 3.8L. You could easily turbo your 4.2.

I had a ridiculous amount of money into this motor when the coyote came out. I was way too far down the rabbit hole. If I were doing it over again I would have gone coyote.

It will be fine. I supercharged the stock motor and ran it for years before I built a motor and went turbo.

The block is back from the machine shop and ready to go together. Unfortunately, life has gotten in the way, and I have to wait until I finish remodeling my house. I made a deal with the wife, the house gets done first, then I get free reign on my projects.

Not really. The seat is a little lower, but the back is taller. If you did a spacer, the head rest would be a little too close to the roof.

Yes, they're pretty easy to find for the 4.6 and 5.4. Just look around online. Do a little reading, and you'll figure out exactly whatcha need pretty quick

@@nathanharambe5521 yes, upgraded clutches/steels and the J-mod. But it was only because it had a lot of miles. The stock 4R70 is actually a strong transmission.

@Nathan Harambe if its healthy, yes. Mine had a lot of hard miles. The transmission was already slipping. If yours shifts fine and the fluid looms good, you shouldn't have any problems.

Definitely worth it! I drove it daily for 2 years. I pulled trailers and did all the normal truck things you would expect. I sold it about 2.5 years ago. It's still going strong with the new owner.

Yes I did. I just used the passenger side for the video since it was easier to remove the seat quickly without the steering wheel being in my way.

Yooo wow! What a set up. So awesome. I was going over the link you posted. You swapped the 4.2 v6 with a super coupe? What’s that?

It was originally. However I swapped in a 3.8 from a Thunderbird Supercoupe since the supercoupe bottom end is built for boost.

Pretty sure if they turboed they removed at least one set of the 4 cats onboard, and turned off the rear O2s in tune. I just removed all 4 of my cats(also have a f150 4.2l) and deleted my EGR to get ready for an Eaton M112. And had to turn off rear o2s and EGR in tune since they've been deleted on.

I made it. I used a set of stock 94-98 V6 Mustang headers. Put the passenger manifold on the driver side and the driver side on the passenger side. That makes the header flanges face forward. Then i made a crossover and up pipe.

The motor is at the machine shop getting forged internals. I i have also imported 42 more Barras, a Holden Ute and a Falcon Ute. Ive been a little busy. Im also building a 69 Camaro and an 87 El Camino. While going to school to finish my engineering degree and being a father. So excuse me for abandoning my channel.
