Thank you for these videos. You're so helpful! Also, the subtle sound effect on the "so on and so forth" counter made me laugh. :)

Hi LvL Up Design, is there any tutorial about adding Video that will play once of every sequence, or looping video where there is a choice to break it up? for example, i'm trying to make a battle scene where a character has a special attack that will play an awesome sequence for 3-5 second animation (which i made using blender), or adding a 5-7seconds of a man running where the video is looping until i break it with choices {"continue" or "stop running"} thanks in advance :)

Please forgive the stupid question: which table tile are you using, and how are you getting them to align on top of it? Everything I put down seems to be off-center. Like items are hanging off the edge of the tables

This also works with RPG Dev Bakin! I figure it may work with other RPG making software, too

I can make a good rpg in rpg maker. But if you dont have an interresting story and an original tileset. Well your game will be another rpg maker like. An generic rpg with the base tileset. For you who want to improve your game, you will need to study a lot of rpg games with cool mechanics, in puzzles, battle, or game design

I'm years late of course, but I'm going to say thank you regardless of my lateness. I appreciate your tutorials a lot. And making the side quests their own little story is something I was lacking. I've been good with main stories, but my side quests have been, well, lackluster at best. that makes me realize that you can do the same thing with at least some of the wandering monster encounters, or random encounters. make a little story out of some. "You hear sounds up ahead, after creeping closer you see a wagon and four guards with a well dressed man and a servant trying to fix a wheel." they turn at your approach and though they are wary, they soon welcome you to the fire. the merchant explains he's on his way to x and now the wheel is busted and they need a part for it in order to fix it. Would you mind terribly?" etc

There's so much scope to be truly creative here. I feel this is one of the many areas a designer can make their game standout. Swordsman? Nah. Moon Dragon Elemental Warrior. Now we talking.

I use RTP for my RPG because it's a 3d action RPG, playing like a mix of Zelda:Oot, Kingdom Hearts, and Smash brothers. The graphics are supposed to look like a generic JRPG because it's a real time Action ode to those games. Then again, I guess it's not really a RPG maker game then.

Everything looks great, thank you for the help and the script, but I have a problem. When I test the game through the program, everything works fine. Later, when I export the game, copy the folder that needed to be created, it throws an error saying that the map could not be found. The plugins and everything else are also in the game's files.

Why the hell are they not making these engine support high resolution 1920x1080 by now!! and with taller sprites! so short they are. The Unity RPG is shit and so hard to work with.

HELLO! Idk if you still answer comments on old videos, but I have a question! I wanted to play a video (like an MP4/WAV file) in my game with Text appearing over it, however, I'm struggling to figure out how to overlay the text while the video plays on loop until the cut scene is over. I've tried but it just plays the video first AND THEN plays the text, which is not what I planned for. I was wondering if you had a specific video for that, or if it's even possible on MZ?
@GooBunniАй бұрын
I was also wondering if there was possibly a way to make a looped gif for the title screen?
