The slightly grim undercurrent to this piece is gonna make it perfect for when the party realise that they and Alustrial are among the only surviving Torilian's left after Vecna unmakes Toril at the start of the adventure. Overdramatic beginning? Perhaps, but my players would never expect me to start a campaign by destroying my favourite D&D setting hehehehe. It's ok, they might triumph and be able to restore it, but it'll be over Vecna's dead body :3

Everytime, I listen to this song, I want to cry. To me, this song could be named "Strahds Sorrow". Somehow it tells his tragic Story. At least to me, the Instruments represent him, Tatyana, the Land and the curse. And he is the cello. If one can be in love with a song, this is it to mee. I just feel it and love it. Thank you for this masterpiece of art!

... I'm so close to done with RoFM. Not close to end, rather close to throwing the book out into the winter. This playlist is the only thing keeping that bloody book on my bloody self. Long story short: Some pc drama, that leaked into personal drama. I did my best to save it. Now I feel bitter and sad about the whole story. Edit: I don't even know is this my last cathartic roar to the ether or my last cry for my joy and excitement to return.

Town Apothecary: "Alright Adventurers, this is the sale. There's mana, stamina, and health potions in various degrees upfront. We also have antidotes, antivenom, and poison cure. Take what you need, and settle up with my Clerk at the kiosk. Forms for 'special orders' are on that desk over there. We don't do freebies, recreational potions, or weird potions. No love potions. No polymorph. NO POLYMORPH. I don't know who spread that rumor, but we have never mixed a badger-morph potion in with the poison cure. Yes, that would cure a fatal poison, and is hilarious, but we don't make those kinds of mistakes in this apothecarion! Have a nice day."

The real tragedy is the fact that Alustriel didn't contact Elminster for help when she learned of Vecna and his minions scheming some kind of havoc. Elminster would've seen through [spoiler] from ten planes away.

I'll be playing through EoR as a legacy character ported over from 3rd edition, aged-up and class-swapped due to thematically appropriate multiverse shenanigans. He was a Big Mordenkainen fanboy in his Wizardly youth, so he's likely to trust his hero on repuation alone. He's wary of Tasha due to her history and associations (Iggwilv and whatnot), and doesn't know Alustriel from a hole in the weave... I, the player know, [spoiler] already, but playing a character who DOESN'T and watching him careen toward tragedy will be magnificent. Especially since this PC used to be a divination wizard... And for once in his long career... he won't see it coming.

@@lukeatkinson3259 I hadn't any plans to play or DM EoR, but it did get me thinking about a scenario I plan to put my player party through in my Forgotten Realms campaign loosely based on the 🐉Tyranny of Dragons 🐉 module. Two of the PCs (Wizard, I'll call him Tristram, and Bard, I'll call her Ariel) have met Tasha in a backstory event (she took a shine to them both and granted each of them a boon), and the whole party is slated to attend a gathering in Silverymoon, of which Alustriel is the guest of honor. Elminster will be present, and by his invitation, Dalamar (hailing from Krynn) and Mordenkainen (these three being the original "Wizards Three" per Ed Greenwood's *Dragon Magazine* series) will also attend. Suffice to say, if those in my current player party (especially Tristram and/or Ariel) survive fighting Tiamat and are later Wish-shanghaied into Sigil, bloody-handed Kas is as good as already outed.
