Yeah, so unfair sport. You and the rest have buddies when you venture fishing. I do solo most of the time, cursed of not catching any when I got company. I also opt doing night fishing over tha day. and its true, landbased fishing is the most thrilling way of fishing, and thrill will be doubled when done at night. 🤙

Hey mate, they're using a mix of Slammer IV, Authority reels and paired with Prevail APEX rods for the rock fishing and Regiment, Slammer & Ocean Assassin II rods for the boat fishing.

I'm curious why this PENN reel has a gasket to keep water out, while my 2024 Battle iii does not. Does anyone know why (e.g., larger salt vs smaller freshwater or something) ? Thx

We need more info on what this hydro seal actually is? Because at the moment, it's just some marketing hype rubbish and I can't see why it's worth stepping up from the battle 3 to the battle 4 for an extra $100

is the little black cap "bearing cover" fixed on this one??? thats my only issue with the Battle 3. have both Battle 3 - 6000 and 8000, but unfortuntaley, both the caps 'bearing covers' fell off by itself.
