⁠Cool but the train came a lot earlier then I thought because the average time for a hotshot to get to flowery branch from Spartanburg is about 4-5 hours and if earlier maybe 3 hours and 55 minutes but this train came through in 3 hours and 38 minutes through flowery branch. Wow!

So I think that this NS 25A because it was combined with NS 27A, it was a straight shot and the conductor could go at full or fast speed. That’s how it got to flowery branch and Suwanee in a very short time from Spartanburg.

@@LocoProthank you and also how did you know it was NS P72? This train seemed longer to be a local. The only way I knew this train was coming by the call for Carolina and I did not see freight cars on the pleasant hill road bridge so I assumed it was a northbound and yep I saw the green.

It depends on the railroad. CSX and NS uses yellow over yellow for advance approach. UP, BNSF, and CN uses double yellow for approach diverging (BNSF still calls them approach medium). CROR and Indiana railroad uses double yellow for approach slow
