Anyone remember the '73 game? A&M was improving, we felt we had some chance. But it was 18 degrees in Austin, and with 54 seconds gone in the first quarter we were behind 17-0 ( not 54 seconds remaining in the first but in the first minute of the game we were behind by 17). I knew we weren't going to score 17 on Texas the rest of the game. Stayed and watched, was possibly the coldest i've ever been for that long.

Epic win A&M. If I was an Aggie fan at Kyle field that night, that would have undoubtedly been a football memory for the ages. For me it was a bitter purgatory. Yikes. Geaux tigers.

The best running back A&M ever had. As a lifelong Longhorn fan, I was scared to death of him. Even more so than Greg Hill and Leland McElroy, and that is saying a lot. All 3 were incredible. Remember when all A&M did was run the ball? The defense knew they were going to run, they did it anyway, and it worked. Running backs and linebackers. That was A&M.

Always liked A&M even though I'm a Noles fan. Those late 80s to mid 90s teams dont get the respect they deserve because of a few bad showings in the cotton bowl where they only scored 5 points in 2 games. And possibly they're best team was on probation and ineligible in 94! Even if they weren't on probation they wouldn't have won the national championship because the tie would've held them back no doubt because penn st was 12-0 and was shafted so a 11-0-1 aggies would've suffered the same fate!

This is legit one of the best A&M games I've ever seen. I would place it up there with the 1998 comeback vs K-State for the Big XII Championship and the 2012 win vs Alabama.
