First time it happened to me I was with my friend and we were currently on a road trip, so we just drove around until the helicopter went away

For whatever reason on my main multiplayer server helis will know exactly where i am and hover directly over my house despite having been inside and having all my windows covered. It will not leave unless I run into the woods, it will hover for many ingame hours with no end, even if I hop off the server and come back 20 minutes irl time later.

Loved this video. Crafting complicated recipes can actually become overwhelming quite quickly when you think you have the ingredients but something is always missing. I would like to add a few points to what you mentioned: You can add bourbon to beverages like coffee (very important :p). And note that with a high enough cooking skill, you can use stews to cook rotten food with no penalty. And if you are cooking quick and basic dinners a good tactic is to use a lot of butter, margarine and lard in recipes too add extra calories.

I know you'll probably never see this comment but what does that mean at the top the scheduled duration and the start day? Thats why i clicked here im looking up what the settings mean lol🤣 if I put the start day as 20 that will mean after 20 days from when I start the game will start? And then the duration is is after so many days it will happen again? Do you mind explaining

The only drawback with this is that eggs and milk become very rare after about a month in game. Build 42 will be bringing farm animals to remedy this but build 42 seems to be taking a long time. In addition, you can cook rotten food for cooking experience.

2:31 DO, NOT, EVER do a "sharp turn like this"! 😃 I lost a character that way. A zombie can be right around the corner, out of your line of sight just waiting to give you a hickey. Always give corners a fair distance. Trust me on this.

This just reminds me of my first helicopter event... It's a funny thing I was new to the game and didn't do much research, so I just dumbly thought the helicopter was there to save me or something and went out. It wasn't when the first hoard came that I realized what it actually was there for.

My rule of thumb for leveling mechanics is to get all the books and then read them according to my level. When I’m looking for books I also try to find a screwdriver, a jack, a wrench, and a lug wrench. Once I’ve gotten all my tools and skill multipliers, if I don’t have a vehicle or mechanics 2 then I either find a vehicle or just grind mechanics and electrical until I can hot wire vehicles. Finally I have a means of transportation, I just head to a place with tons of cars and go to town. I don’t really bother towing vehicles if I can just pull up the next day to continue the grind. If I find any perfect condition vehicle parts, I make sure to mark them on my map and pick them up once my mechanics level is maxed or it’s at a level I am happy with.

Good video. As the guy who always has to be the Mechanic in Multiplayer, I think that you missed a few important tips for Noobs. 1) You can fill up a car directly at a gas station (need generator after power goes out). 2) Remove/Replace head and tail lights as well as Battery & Radio when grinding first few levels. 3) There are “Car zone” VHS tapes that give you XP’s. If you are lucky and find one of these and a Mechanics 1 Book you will instantly be Mechanics Level 2 and only need to grind Electrician 1 to be Hot-wiring Cars in no time! Unlikely to happen, but definitely worth keeping an eye out for! 4) Keep all your tools in a single Mechanic Backpack and wear it whenever working on cars. Nothing worse than “popping the hood” only to realize that you forgot your Tire Pump!

Let's not forget about filling your cars directly from gas pumps AND using Auto Mechanics mod for not having to click 10k times when putting parts on and off.

Holy shit that's a silly lucky start. Food AND a can opener? No zombies near your home? Holy. I don't think people should try to go to the little convenience store since limping with 20 burning zombies on your ass that are faster than you. as someone who managed to get their entire friend group to get the game, we had so many people fighting the zombies that there were no zombies left in west point (respawns were off)

I think its best to play in sandbox mod and under vehicles option enable' easy use' so car key will always spawn inside car,so you can take any profession or if you want some realism and some locked car just set car locked frequency to extremely rare ,in this way there may be atleast few cars whixh are unlocked with keys inside ,in most cases fule must be low or empty in those car so you should sipon fuel from other cars,however locked cars can be hotwired only when you get level 2 mechanics and level1 electronics
