This is a solid recipe. I'm glad I was served this video four years after it was made. The flattening at the end I have never seen done before. My cakes usually come out flat but sometimes they don't depending on the time of year. Extreme seasonal changes where I live. Going to try the press technique. 👏👏👏👌🦄👍🍰

Wow this looks amazing, definitely going to try it out. Thank you 🥰 The way i keep my cakes flat, i wet paper towel, fold it long ways and wrap it with foil. Like a belt. And tape it around the outside of the cake tin. It works wonders 🥰

Hello! Got this product in Mexico although I do not have this product anymore (ran out), haven't been back to purchase more, I believe it's called MaBaker. But you can actually use beet powder but the color will be very faint on the first coat. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately this recipe did not work out for me. I followed this recipe step by step and for some reason the cake never rose and was very doughy. We did not over beat and we even made a second batch to make sure but same result. :/

oh no! that's unfortunate. Hmmm did you set your oven at 325F? Sometimes oven temps can alter the rise of your cakes.

You have to make buttermilk, which is when you add ACV to milk which will thicken the milk. Probably wouldn't use coconut milk from a can but a bottled one yes

Ingrid Olivia Hi Ingrid. Are you adding too much water to your ingredients? If your buttercream is too watery, add more powdered sugar to get the consistency you want. Hope this helps and please let me know.

a rosette? hmmm. the only thing I can think of is having your powdered sugar sifted (as stated in the video) and make sure your buttercream is at a medium consistency (not rock solid buttercream or liquid just something in the middle of texture). And pipe with your 2D tip. If the buttercream breaks, it's possible that the powdered sugar is not sifted and/or you aren't mixing your buttercream for at least 2 minutes to make it nice and creamy. hope this helps
