It was as if I could run for a while if I didn't immediately run into one. However, they would then lag my game to exact divine intervention. I was laughing but also mildly spooked lol.

The Cyclops, for such a big sub, is surprisingly unstable. It doesn’t take much to overturn it or for the player to get bounced around the inside. The doors and hatches are big trouble if you get caught in them while they are closing. I am in the habit of building wall lockers too close to the front ladder, and this often gets me tipping the entire sub. One time, the floor started lifting up for some reason (though I had turned the engine off and was completely stopped) and the floor caused me to bounce through the roof of the sub onto the outside. This can get you killed, because the game will still behave as though you are inside the sub and you can fall to your death if you jump off. The Cyclops has lots of problems that even today aren’t fully resolved.
