Not actually not that fast. Fast "picking" yes, but not playing. Most all notes he plays get 5 or 6 hits each. It is an illusion to the ear. Watch his fretting hand closely, many guitarists play with the same speed, just not picking the notes as quickly with the strumming hand. I prefer Satriani, VERY clean player. When he plays I hear every single note.

When a guitarist decides to play at speed, then going back to playing a slow melody makes the music feel boring

His three right fingers are open and some say it to fold it for faster picking.... Now what should we do??

Has terrible tone, and never wrote one memorable song. No melody or phrasing. The only guy post Yngwie's debut record to have speed, feel, melody, phrasing, vibrato above all the Shrapnel era fast players, is Vinnie Moore.

This isn't insanely fast - it's 16th notes @ 220bpm which is impressive but still pretty common amongst many competent shredders. His wrist motion is super-inefficient - way too much movement compared to a guy like Shawn Lane or Jason Richardson.
