Nomad its your chanel and you have a right to your opinion, and I for one repect your right to state it. You are right in the sense that is cheaply made abd ut is not the most precise and so forth. Yet for me that is precisely the charm the Komandirski has for me. Now just to let you know, I do own a genuine Rolex Submariner, but a see a million look alikes out there, mostly homage copies made in China that to me at least, "cheapen" the exclusivity of the Rolex brand, and add to that the games Rolex plays to let you buy a particular watch from them! On the other or flip side of the coin, these Russian watches are more uncomon. I do not see one EVERYWHERE, they look different than an equally priced and better made and more accurate Casio, like the one Bill Gates wear. Think of it as driving into a fancy private club where all you see are Mercedes Benz, Rolls Royces, Masseratis, Ferraris, Aston Martins, and you pull up in a Russian Lada 2107. Yes you have a cheap car, not fancy by any means, but here is the the real kicker: Yours is the ONLY car like it in the whole parking! Everybody else has the same or alike luxomobile, but only YOU have the Lada. That is perhaps its greatest charm and selling point. And last but not least, it is a watch that is so basic, and cheap and simple that it invites you to play with it and modify it if that is your thing (not in my case) . So those are my reasons for owning this watch. So while I agree with your opinion as to why you do not like the Vostoks, those very things you dislike are for me what I find interesting. Its so "bad" that it is wonderful, for me at least. As for those Vostok lovers like myself that attack you, I say to them: Be civil, we all have opinions. If you disagree, say so politely, and move on. No need to be uncivil to the host of this channel.

The case, dial, hands are made in China. Check out my video I have been to Chinese factory so I know and have seen them being made. The movement is a off the shelf that any miro brand can buy from Fossil Group WHich when I last checked are $100 and is not even that good when most will now use sw200 movements. The prices is crazy and they know it thats why most of the time the watches for sale are 40% RRP. How much did you pay for "your Zodiac"? They're using a dead brand name that most people dont even in. I bet when "you wear your Zodiac" people will be thinking on nice watch from aliepress. You turn give me the 3 good reasons why you will not send "your Zodiac" Didn't see your video on "your Zodiac" on your channel. I was excited to watch the review "your Zodiac" WHats your instagram so we can see photos of "your Zodiac" Oh forgot to say the poor finishing of the watch, make that 4 points. Didn't you find the finish of "your Zodiac" bad? Tell me more about "your Zodiac" I'm very intrested to hear about "your Zodiac" Last "your Zodiac" which model is it?

@ You obviously don’t realize how many Swiss made watches use Chinese parts. Including Tissot, Tag, and Omega. Unless you’re willing to call Omega a microbrand based on that info, that discounts your first point. Of course they are using a STP movement. Fossil is their parent company, and Fossil owns STP. Are you going to ding Tissot for using eta movements? Swatch owns eta. And just like eta, STP sells their movements to microbrands. That two points down. Pricing has no bearing on whether a watch is a microbrand. Continues to show that you really don’t know what is and is not a microbrand. Like many watch brands, Zodiac has been bought, sold, gone into bankruptcy, bought again, etc. a. Lange & Sohne, Czapek, and Doxa are among the many brands that “died”, but later revived. Still, no bearing on if a watch brand is a microbrand. Level of finish also has no bearing on if a watch is a microbrand. I have a Tuseno Shellback that has finishing that rivals any similarly priced watch from the conglomerate watch brands, including my Longines Hydroconquest (which cost almost twice as much.) Zodiac is selling close to 10k watches a year. While a small number compared to bigger watch brands, it is miles ahead of true microbrands. Zodiac is not direct to consumer only. They are not independent, and they don’t crowdfund. All staples of the microbrand watch collective. Z09271.

Took me a day to tp stop laughing at you. “YOUR ZODIAC” Do tell me how many Swiss made watches use Chinese parts please link your wikipedia page you get the info from. Why would Omega microbrand? They make great watches. They also have something about the moon. Maybe you can check wikipedia and tell us all. Tissot makes a watches also and they don’t rely on a bankrupt history. Why is that That two points down? Do you mean RTA used to sell there movements? Which microbrand use ETA? How many times has Zodiac been bought and sold? When did it go into bankruptcy and for how long? Whats a Tuseno Shellback? “Zodiac is selling close to 10k watches a year” more wikipedia? How many are at RRP or 40% off? I guess you could say fosal group crowdfund Zodiac. You never told me about “YOUR ZODIAC” but you can tell me more about “YOUR ZODIAC” later. Lets keep the engagement going. valuation is by the cheap use of materials. I bought it after research to find a watch brand with uneducated fan boy who would cry when i tell them they love a watch brand they don't own is junk. I love my family and not a watch brand. Sad right the fan boys have no one to love but a brand.

It’s extra important to me that my parts/designs remain unique and only available through me. Do you have any more tips/resources you can share for dealing with asian manufacturers? (I had hoped to use Alibaba but I heard you say that’s a bad idea.)

So let me lay it out for you point by point. 1) Zodiac is a micro brand? Do you know their history at all? They have been around from late 1880s. 2) The groundbreaking Sea Wolf that was released in 1953 is a stellar piece and was commissioned to be used by many militaries. It was the most reliable dive watch. So you know more than the defence industry 3) The Sea Wolf when it was released was $100 and Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms was priced at $90 at that time. 4) They use flashy colors because they are hiding something? What about Doxa (they are ugly watches) ? What about Tissot with their PRXs? What about Citizen with their Tsuyosas? What about CW? What about blingy Rolexs, especially the rainbow watch? Do you know watches at all??? 5) You are comparing Zodiac with immense history and a watch brand that has is own identity with its designs now with Spinnaker which is an actual micro brand. Zodiac never speaks of AR coating, I do not know where you got the idea. 6) You do not like bracelets? Well most watches come with it. Put on a tape and wear it then. If there was a stand up based on watches this clip will surely give a lot of material. I think you did not get a Zodiac watch from the brand on a free or they refused to loan any sample for review. That may be it.

I own 22 watches, ranging from Longines, Tag Heuer, Seiko, Rado, Louis Errard, Raymond Weil, and Casio, among others. So I know a thing or two about watches. My opinions are mine. You can have yours. I do not do get free watches and do not do paid reviews. I do not own a Zodiac currently, but my next watch is surely a zodiac. I do a lot of research from different sources to gather my information. Well, let's say that even if I looked up Wikipedia, which I did not, I am still better informed than you. Btw the bezel has perfect alignment. You never showed a proper shot.

If you don’t mind used BB54 get it while in Australia . I got it from a used watch shop for $AU4400 and claimed 10% back under tourist scheme . So it ended up being $3960 with 4 years warranty left. I’ve seen a few on used market there .

A few months ago I was giving serious thought to buying the orange dial 300T on the steel bracelet but kept seeing the Seestern 300T homage pop up and almost all that own the genuine 300T rated the Seestern Sub 300T with the Seiko NH35 very high not to mention the sub $189 price. Not a homage fan I said what the heck and bought one off Aliexpress for $114 and when I got it I was shocked at how good it is. It's so good It scratched my itch for the gen Doxa and I ordered the Caribbean blue dial Seestern and few weeks later.

The Seestern 300T is a good watch I was thinging of getting one and selling this. Some people only care about the brand name "Rolex fan boys" who are willing to pay over the odds. From what I can see Doxa is not doing to well. They're not giving discounts.
