They sound good hate that they're two different colors just goes to prove the sound is in the heads not so much the cylinders . These fiberglass drums sound as good as acrylic or Wood . However Birchwood tends to project a lot more with quite a bit of sustain.

What are the sizes from top to bottom??
@cgdrum4 жыл бұрын
I don't have these cup chimes anymore. Paiste lists the sizes as 5", 5.5", 6", 6.5", 7", 7.5", 8". I believe i had the smaller 4 sizes. I don't remember which size corresponded to what model no.

In my humble opinion, the best cymbals for recording! It has the characters of the 2002 but lower in pitch. I own EVERY sizes and models in this line. When I heard Paiste was going to incorporate them into the Masters and Customs (which don’t come close to this line), I went out and bought all of them 👍🏿

I recorded this video clip on an Olympic LS -20m video recorder . It had a low sensitivity threshold setting that would allow louder sounds to be recorded without distortion. They do not make this model anymore. Unfortunately it stopped working recently. There are similar devices made by Zoom.

How did you drill the holes? Sounds good 👌
@cgdrum5 жыл бұрын
First I used a metal punch (for setting nails) to put an indentation. This is so the drill bit does'nt slip .I then used a cordless drill with a small piece of wood underneath for a clean hole. Lastly I de- burred the holes with a small half round file. Good luck.
