Great video and explanation for you equipment choices. I have two bows and this year I am shooting the slower of the two. 231 feet-per-second with a 560-grain arrow. Not worried about speed, because the bow is whisper quiet at the shot. Good luck this fall.

Get yourself some rubber boots that you can leave out side, when you tend it use natural branches and change up your lures so it seems like multiple does are visiting it. Also the biggest bucks will often check it from down wind so keep your eyes open. Good luck

@robertbaan2944 Some people do, however, dude to the speed plus the current. Sometimes it gets torn off, and you have zero way of knowing. So you could just be towing around a bear hook which isn't a good thing.

the barbs are in the fins, most of the larger catfish dont have poison in them anymore but the smaller ones def do, just stay away from anything pointy and use your pliers

Under the head, below the pectoral fins so they dont stick you, Pushing down the dorsal dorsal fin so that it also doesnt stick you. Their vemon will make it feel like your hand has untreated chlamydia.

Chain pickerel is in the esox family the same family as muskie and northern pike. Basically just a tiny pike. Still super fun
