I have 2 albino tiger oscars and 7 angelfish living together no problems at all. Had them all together for 3 months...oscars 8 inches and angels different sizes no bullying or naughty behaviour at all 😊

I have an oscar with 10 fully grown angelfish and a severum. No issues at all because the oscar was just an inch when I added it 😁

I have a tiger oscar & angelfish too, they have been together for about 3months also & i lov them & they really love each other..alot!! They get along really well. I believe its bc they were both babies & both introduced to the new tank at the same time! And..tank SIZE..Also makes a huge difference..My angel.."angel" is beautiful & intelligent & my oscar "puppy" is super smart ❤& sweet! Like a big puppy! And YES, he knows & loves Me! So very smart

Hello it is nice to see someone else putting different kinds of fish together. my wife and i started out with two oscars (tigers). one is an ablino. then 1 PLECOSTOMUS. our tank is a 90 gallon and my wife loves color and she wanted more so we decided to get some more and we got... 1 BLUE PECOCK CICHLID 2 SUNSHINE PECOCK 1 ELECTRIC YELLOW CICHILD 1 BURUNDI cichlid ALL 6 STRIPS 1 KIGOMA ALL 7 STRIPE 3 OB PEACOCK..... then today we were at a different pet store and my wife saw some beautiful angel fish big enough to fit in with all our other fish. everyone gets along. and i have a happy wife too. she has her girly fish mixed in with my manly fish as she calls it. she has named everyone in the tank but the angels. she told me give her a few days she needs to watch them first. she put me a list on the tank cover so i can know them all be names. lol . the wife helps with the tank cleaning weekly and i do most of the feedings. she is so funny going up to the tank talking to them and i watch the fish react to her. i had oscars before when i was younger. wife gave up everything to come here to Canada even her dog. she gave into my want for a pet in a cage when i won a gift card to a pet store. so we got a lionhead rabbit. of course she is spoiled now. but what surprised me is when she said something about fish. then our adventager began again together. having a partner who is so into things i enjoy too makes a differance. these are our babies she says since we can't have one.

Hello, I've been reading some articles saying that to make this set up work, the oscar must still be a juvy when you add other fish so he'll see them as tankmates and not food. I have a 6-inch oscar, would you consider this juvy?

I have a full grown Koi Angelfish living with a Oscar, Peacock Bass and others. Trick was the others were added very small with the large Angelfish.

Everyone says keep Angels with gouramis so I did that and the gouramis we're little assholes and picked the crap out of my angels. I have always had nice lazy oscars who got picked on by my jack depsey and blood parrots. I love oscars and Angels so you know what!? Im doin this lol

Way late to the party in almost 2020 yet... I need to state, I have a 75 gallon with two albino tiger Oscar's, 6 various Angel fish; 3 black marble, 2 golden marble, and one platinum. I also have a brown sail fin place and two german blue ram. My tank runs one 75 gallon pump with one L type filter, a mesh bag of 4 oz. Of amo- carb and a cut to fit drip edge of carbon filter pad. The tank also runs on the opposite end a 25 gallon pump with two slim cart filters and two carbon filter cutouts and a carbon filter drip edge. The tank is fully live planted and also has a 10" bubbler in the middle. The fish all eat at the same time and all swim around the entire tank in unicen. South America cichlids can be together if introduced at the correct ages and in the right numbers. Awesome fish!

I did have these two very different fish together without any incident. Now, the Jack and Oscar were fighting so much, half the water in my tank was on the floor. Powerful mouths on them both. Evenutally, I had to separate them. My Oscar pair ate several of my fish, including my pleco cat fish, frog, etc. I still love Oscars, so intelligent, I taught the female to jump out of the water and take food from my hand until one day she nipped my finger like a baby shark.
