You did phenomenal explaining the buses and what that does but you didnt explain the top 3 vocal effects, you listed their names but didnt explain the hertz range or why the tempo is important or really what the wet and dryness is. What I found with the tone den system is i tried clicking one of my ads when someone liked it so when I clicked spotify even if i have spotify open it tells me to sign in, so it doesn't go straight to stream the song, so it might be a problem for people who doesn't want to wait, but submithub it went to my spotify straight and started playing

The make believe song has been out a month and a half with only a couple thousand streams, did you not run the ads on this in the end?

No didn’t run the ads on it because he’s a very strong believer on running 30% of the budget on the first 24 hours it releases. and that song was already released for a few weeks. He said sSpotify looks at that first 24 hours and if it does good then it will put it in discover weekly and radio playlists way sooner. I have his exact ad strategy running on my song coming out this Friday called “Forgiven” and I'll be releasing a video called "I spent $1,000 on ads for my music: here's what happened" something like that after it's done

So why did Jend say to make sure your video crops nicely to a square format, then recommend to keep original format for square ads (i.e. not cropping for square ads and keeping the vertical format in those)? 🤔

It will auto crop the top n bottom off when shown as a post (square(. You just want to make sure your text on screen and cover art don’t get chopped off.

Awesome video, thanks for the tip. Question, at the start when you’re turning down the beat and vocals etc do you need to reset that back to 0 once the mix process is finished? I’m going to try it out tomorrow. I am just curious to know if I turn it all down too much will I have to boost gain too hard to get that sound back? I record in my bedroom and often find my recordings to be muddy.. worried if I boost too hard on my vocals the imperfections will show more clearly… awesome vid thanks for the tips
