@@sahilaggarwal2004 basic doesn’t mean base, basic is the minimum/lowest amount, you should find out what the base salary is! Basically you will get other components in base apart from the basic!

This role was for a mechanical engineer, not sure about the field engineer role. Ambition Box says : Average Schlumberger Field Engineer salary in India is ₹25.7 Lakhs for less than 1 year of experience to 3 years. Field Engineer salary at Schlumberger India ranges between ₹18.0 Lakhs to ₹36.0 Lakhs. Hope this helps!

Hey will do it this time, so Palo Alto didn’t allow, in fact, I even made a video and then the person asked me to delete as she got to know this :) Amazon didn’t hire from VIT last year due to the recession.

Hi sorry for the delayed response, actually the eligibility criteria for these companies changes every year based on the placement registered students, the number of people they want to hire etc, but mostly, I have seen very few companies with MSc bio tech students being eligible. All the best!

Actually the eligibility criteria was 6cgpa like above 6cgpa all can apply but college filters out students for the online test as there are a lot of students in VIT. So for Wells Fargo the filter was of 9cgpa for the online test. Hope you got it.

Hi may i know for which profile Oracle is giving 8 lpa. Oracle is a very reputed company and it pays around 25 to 30 lakh to freshers from IITS and NITS for the role of MEMBER OF TECHNICAL STAFF or Application developer... I do understand Vit is a private college but seriously 8 lpa is wayy too less i think it was for support of role or something...

Yes, it depends on the role, the college, and also even in development all roles are not same right, companies have software developer salaries that have a huge range, Microsoft gives salaries in VIT for software developers ranging from 12 LPA to 45 LPA and this range is in VIT alone, companies have product and services divisions, so there are many factors involved.
