I just did this on a whim but holding down both page turning buttons with the power button until it switched to the battery charging symbol. Waiting for it to charge now due to the book indexing process taking forever (possibly corrupt book file).

It did finally work TODAY and I wasn’t going to let it be as is so I reset/restarted the device. A message appeared saying that the device was not properly disconnected when last plugged in. I let it process for a half a day while plugged in before I could reset it. I did the multiple button hold because the power button hold for 40secs to 5min was not working for me and my Mac AND PC would not recognize the Kindle Oasis when plugged in. For extra info, I have a 10th gen Oasis. Good luck @avronaut!

Und was soll das darstellen? Eine Feldbahn um der Feldbahn willen. Was wird von wo nachvwo transportiert und warum? Man sollte sich vielleicht vorher ein Thema aussuchen, z B. Ziegelei, Schamottewerk, Steinbruch und Recherche betreiben dann kommt auch eine vernünftige Anlage dabei heraus. Ich baue jetzt nach 5 Jahren Recherche eine Om/Of Anlage mit Hafen und Kalkringofen. Da es so etwas in 1:45 nicht im Modell gibt ist Selbstbau angesagt. Von den Feldbahnloks und Wagen, Schiff, Verlageanlage bis zum 95 X 35 cm Halbrelieffringofen. Hoffe, dass ich 2025 was prasentieren kann, alleine der Ringofen wird ca 6 -7 Monate Bauzeit benötigen.

Sorry. It was a long time ago and I don't remember anymore. Just take a magnet with you and check the ballast before buying.
