Bravo you! I only ever learned 4 tunes on Charango. I think my nails are not strong enough for it, because doing the normal life things like making things & repairing things, I just always have broken nails & that makes charango playing difficult. Also I was getting RSI pain which was a problem for my job. So I gave up on the charango & just stick with quena & zampona. I haven't put much of that on youtube, just a few videos direct to camera, unedited audio, like you no DAW, filters, effects or anything else.

I can’t even play the chord

Thanks for this. I've been studying Spanish for six years on my own (there are few Spanish speakers where I live), and thought I'd look into trying the flamenco guitar, after hearing someone play recently. It's unlikely that I can get nails other than my thumb and pinky finger long enough on my right hand to pick the strings, and have decided that's going to have to be enough. Finding a flamenco guitar where I live is turning out to be a challenge.

This song reminds me of my childhood when things were simpler before the internet and cell phones & etc. In those days an ice-cream truck would drive by slow and blast this song when it was a hit in the 60s and also Mrs. Robinson.
