No, this lock can only be installed indoors, not waterproof, outdoor rain may cause damage to the lock.

The benefit for drop polt , the door will open booth sides . The issue for drop polt is if the door is move for only one millimetre , the drop polt will not work, and you need to call door people to come to adjust the door. You can fix Normal magnetic lock , but the door will not open for the booth sides .
