I attended the Glasgow Gaming Market this year and it was my first time at a gaming market and I thought it was kinda "meh". Maybe I just set my expectations a bit too high but I was expecting more of a selection and especially more games that you don't usually see or hear about often, such as Mischief Makers, The Bouncer and Bishi Bashi Special, for example but instead I saw about a billion copies of GoldenEye and several copies of FIFA games along with other games that you can find practically anywhere, such as Tomb Raider and Gran Turismo. I was also a bit surprised by the prices at a lot of stall as I thought some were just a bit on the high side and also that a lot of PS2 games I saw didn't have their manuals along with there being so many PS1 games with their alternate "Best of" and "Value Series" cover art, which was annoying. It wasn't all bad, though as I did enjoy myself and I will be going back next year and hopefully it will be in a different location as the event was pretty packed (and I was one of the 11am entrants!) and I could hardly get to the stalls with all the bodies in front of me. It would also be good if it was more central as it's currently a bit out of the way. From my hotel, I had to get the subway and have a twenty minute walk to get to the location. Even though I didn't buy as much as I expected, I was still happy with what I bought and I'm planning on attending other gaming markets in the future. Anyway, enough of my moaning. It was a good video and thank you for making it. It's always nice to see and listen to other people's experiences.

I was at the Glasgow market this year too and im 100% behind you about the size and capacity of the place. I was maybe one of the first 50 in the door and within a few minutes the stalls were crowded over making it hard to get a good rummage. I was leaving just after general admission and there is no way they didnt exceed capacity in the venue. I was so relieved i paid for early entry. I did get some good pieces id been after for a while so i cant conplain too much but im already looking at doing one of the markets down south next yesr instead. Seemed like the vendors were bringing basic games with them that could be bought from any cex for a lot cheaper (Mega Drive selections in particular were woeful)

Sorry to hear it wasn't as good as you thought it would be. I've been to a few in the UK, and sometimes it's just impossible to move around. I've never been to Scotland but have always wanted to, but it's a long way from Kent. Nice Video.

do you know you hit on an issue that stops me going to gaming exhibits and the likes. a lot of the people that it attracts are people that sit at a computer drinking monster all day and never step in a shower. the kind of smell instant bath (deodorant) can't cover. it might sound like i am being nasty but really it is selfish af to not shower for who knows how long and putting yourself in amongst a bunch of people that shouldn't have to smell your laziness. at least have a 5min shower before you leave. man even a sink wash, it's not good but at least you made some kind of effort lol

Pratt decent haul matey. Especially that conker live and reloaded. I've always found rareware joining Microsoft to be one of the biggest wasted opportunities in gaming history. Granted I liked what they put out between 2003 to 2007. But after that they kinda lost there way. So many games they could've released but no.

"Meh" was the sentiment from our group too, I've been going for the last 3 years and this one definitely felt a bit more on the dry side. Agree on the venue, the event is definitely due a bump in venue size, given the sheer business of it now!

Look at the back of the case where is says warning. If it says read instruction manual then its meant to have a manual. If it says read inside the case then it comes without a manual. Transformers doesn't have a manual.
