Any areas in particular? I would suggest starting by using strong teams that have won regionals, watch content of people battling and understand why they make the plays they do and enter local events to try and connect with other players to improve with.

The move is weak, but it is meant to be combined with Empoleon's water pledge to use it's special attack as well as get the swamp effect. I do agree that by itself, it is a bad move on rilla!

@@IAmTheRealHim you are correct, normally you would only want to combo rillaboom and empoleon so you use it's SpA, but I like your suggestion of combining Serperior and Infernape...maybe I try that in a future video 👀
