I live in humboldt. There's a few horror movies that were filmed here.

Another great video store was Old Town Video in Eureka. I worked there in the early to mid nineties. Great selection, and they had small viewing rooms. The downside to that was they allowed porn to be rented and watched in there, as well as the regular movies. I got away with never having to clean up those viewing rooms. It was a fun job otherwise. I heard they folded in 2007. They were owned by the same people who owned the Eureka Inn.

It'll take care of you for a while, that's good. I like these cars, and they are easy enough to work on which is a huge bonus. Sad to see rust issues on what appears to be every car on the northern eastern part of the US. Super common over there I guess. Here in California, at least where I live rust isn't really an issue much, but the used car market has been overly expensive.

@@MPiKMS72 Thank you both! I lost my truck nearly 2 years ago due to a drunk driver and have been without wheels since. It's taken a loooong time to save up for a replacement vehicle. But when that time comes, I'm definitely looking to return for a while to visit friends, family and revisit some of my favorite old haunts

10:49 oh ya baby zoom right in on that lead packed peeling paint mmmmm the city of lewiston has a pretty major lead problem, a productive abatement company could come here and make MILLIONS

there are several more even larger mills by sqft up the street, that whole area was goated back in the day god i love the mills man this video is so fuckin pleasing to see

love this as a lewiston native, my grandfather and father had a produce distribution business in the sheltered loading dock area back in the 90s and 2000s. as a 10 year old i would jump off that loading dock as a challenge and i hurt myself nastily more than once lol my dad let me do it though

Nick here-- changed my KZbin name and handle as I'll be publishing with a goal soon. I've not yet seen the Cybertruck in person, but apparently there's one in my area. We have Tesla's everywhere here, but they aren't really well suited for the winter here. I'm holding my judgement until I get a chance to drive one. I know someone who ordered two, one for him and his wife and he's offered to let me test drive it after his arrives. Not sure when, but I will certainly document the experience. I have Starlink internet and that's like alien technology. I can only imagine what kind of tech is packed into that Truck.

I'm sorry, but I think they are ugly looking trucks. They took the style right from DeLorean. At least the DeLorean was cool with the Gullwing doors.

The statue and pond have been there for as long as I can remember (that's going back 52 years). I can't imagine that the city would get rid of it. They are probably just repairing the concrete underneath. Water has a nasty way of deteriorating concrete.
