I know that trail. Video does not show how tough that trail really is, or the elevation changes. 6 miles of sweet trail or 6 miles of hell. Thank for the video TJ.

Idk what your gearing is on that bike, but i constantly feel like you should be a gear higher from the sounds & speed. & You should also be looking for the "pipe" as you come on to runs that are a bit longer and more clear instead of constantly revving through everything. There is a time and place for that. 😊 hope this helps on your next run. "It isn't truly an adventure until someone is pissing in their radiator to get home." - Some guy named Mark from Michigan.

I was using the white map, it had gobs of torque, would lug for days, and was still snappy enough to loft the front wheel when I needed it to. I did have to adjust the idle a bit as I kept stalling it in slow stuff, but once I got it dialed it was way better. the motor is perfect for this stuff. The transmission ratios we're perfect as well. Not much I can say I don't like about the bike, except the maintenance on the air fork (constant air pressure checks) valving is pretty good.

I have a 2021-250 XC. I really like it. Seems to rapp out a lot faster than your bike. Maybe you're keeping it off the pipe cuz you're in the snow.

Yea I'm being light on the throttle because of the snow and I 3 weeks before I crashed hard and had some small fractures in my back and really wasn't risking a crash.

Ouch! Landon Crashed 100 yards from the finish at Mini Moose. Little jump there and launched the KDX and The KDX launched him. Twisted bars tweaked left radiator and bloody nose.

Yea I'm ok today, chest is sore. I think I only bruised my sternum. The tree pushed the GoPro right into my chest. This was my only crash for the day.

That's what you get for cutting the course! Back when I first starting riding the JP it was the "JP 400". 200 miles a day for 2 days. Before that I think it was a 500. Then the Greenies moved in.

I actually think I like the time lapse format. I was curious what the course looked like this year and I was able to see it in about 2-3mins. Looks like the dirt was perfect.

The timelapse is great for that. it adds a unique aspect for the watcher as well. the dirt was perfect! I wish it would have rained though. I do well in the mud as well as could used the cooling.

I did, 87th overall, the last bike to not hour out... This was all I had from this event, battery only lasted so long in the cold.
