Thank you for the great video, my ADT alarm has been going off for the last 2 hours and this saved the evening. Nearly paid £200 quid for an emergency electrician. Took me less than 2 minutes to disarm.

Mine is a Honeywell 6150rf. I opened it and there's not battery and I also have no electrical panel either. It's written battery on the panel in the closet and is beeping. I have no idea what to do lol. 😢

Once you have removed the main power and standby battery the sab in the bell box will sound the bell or siren for a while and you won’t be able to stop it unless you go up to the bell box and remove the power in it Mabey your alarm systems in the USA are fitted different but in the uk we fit the self activation module ( SAB ) in the bell box that powers the siren or bell if it loses power from the end station

Just as pretty much all the videos said this is a lifesaver!! Go directly to the source (usually a small box in the premises) and disconnect the alarm by removing the battery or unplugging the plug

I contacted ADT. They said they will never remove the equipment from the home. They canceled communication after that.

I will add my thanks. I had discontinued my service with a major company, and several months later started getting a bf (backup failure) alarm. I particularly appreciated your reassurance that I wasn't going to electrocute myself or blow up my house. Philosophy majors find the real world sort of intimidating.

Do you think the turing mp turret is better than the hanwah 5mp turret. I seen you have turing system your help would be appreciated. From video feeds I saw from turing, it doesn't look really crisp, and colors look blah and choppy. Your help, please, thank you.

OMG ! - our alarm system (not monitored) has been driving us mad for a couple of years - beeps at 1030 at night every night. Back up battery issue I suspect. Now disconnected back up battery and pulled out 12v main wire. Thank you Jordan you bloody legend !. 🙏

Great Video really helpful I need to figure out what one on my LAN numbers is connected to my Concord 4 panel so I need to install a RJ11 jack. I was told not to install the jack without first disconnecting the power and the battery. What order do you reconnect battery and power? Does it matter"

Hi I'm in a weird predicament where we bought a house, never got the code for this, haven't used it, and now I am getting low battery beeps, but it won't let me do anything without a code. If I unplug it and open up, to remove the battery, is it going to shut off immediately or beep an aggressive alarm?

I'm sure you've handled this already, but I had the same issue. When I opened up the box, it did NOT beep aggressively. That said, it's also worth noting that unplugging the battery alone won't stop the beeping. I also had to disconnect the wires that were connected to the box through the wall, which requires a super tiny Phillips-head screwdriver. The beeping has been driving me crazy and this video helped me resolve the issue, so thanks @SecurityCentralInc.

End of line resistors should not be located in the panel. they should be at the end of the line. If not using them program the panel for no end of line.

To get the installer code, reboot the system then within 50 seconds hit # and * at the same time then hit #20 Use *99 to exit
