Hey, thanks for sharing. I fell while jogging. I'm a 69 year old female and fell hard onto a paved street. I hurt my left forearm and elbow area. Black and blue and swelling from hand to elbow. It's been six weeks and my hand and arm below elbow are much better. Still have a bit of swelling in the elbow area and cannot bend arm or straighten it out. (Can bend a bit and getting better) I don't like doctors, especially orthopedic surgeons. , Three years ago I fell over on my bike while trying to go up a small mound in a high gear. Fell right over onto my right hand. Never hurt myself so badly. Crushed my hand. Did not want surgery. My doctor friends told me " You will never be the same." After three months of avoiding surgery, my hand was improving. I was 66. Three years ago I was not used to the swelling and even though I felt better, my hand and arm were distorted looking. And this was the reason I gave in. Because my hand and wrist looked crooked, but I was getting better, it was the swelling that threw me off!! I gave into the doctors and had surgery. In hind sight I believe I did not need it and to this day am angry at the surgeon who talked me into it. He knew I really did not want it and he should have allowed me to just get better on my own. At least give me more time to see how I would progress. Instead, he went for the profit route, for him!! But it was that experience, three years ago, that made me decide, "no way" was I going to get an x-ray or deal with any doctors. So, I'm much better and time will tell if I am right about my arm. But I do not want to go through this again so I am looking into these products. Am very grateful to see so many reviews but no one has actually fallen while wearing any of these things. Hope you don't mind the epic story. Hope you might also learn to try and avoid having screws and plates put inside of you, especially if you can wiggle all your fingers, in an arm injury. One more thing, after my fall, when I did get up, on my own, my left arm was not able to hold itself up, as it lost control and my hand slammed into my head. Having it in that position really hurt!!! When I opened it up, with the right hand, it felt much better. Even though that happened, I still refused to go to a doctor. So far, so good, but time will tell. I might make a video of my experience, when and if I get totally better. People should know you don't always have to run to the doctors. Still checking out protection products. Thanks for your video.

Thank you for sharing I have enough steel plates and screws in me due to a serious motorcycle accident I had a good 25 years ago. I wore a quality helmet, motircycle jacket gloves and a backpack which saved my spine as I flew in the air and landed on my back and pelvis…snap went the pelvis 🤪 But here I am telling my stories still riding motorcycles and mountain bikes at 56 😀 Ride safely and enjoy your retirement years 🍻🍻

@@BlazinBlades So sorry to hear of your accident. I too, had a 125 Honda that I regretted getting as I ended up taking two spills. One from an oil slick!!! And another from a driver changing her mind and I was in the way. Thank god I was going slow and was wearing leather jacket and gloves. Pulled my left ankle ligament. That's all!! Very lucky. Sold bike and cannot understand how folks like you can risk driving motorcycles. Your last sentence, back at ya!!

Been playing 40+ years off and on. Had get rid of my table when I got married and we moved into a house with no place for table. Having to start over again, just purchased a carbon+ because I want to get back in the game. I used to be very good 8 years ago, but haven't played for 8 years. Haven't tried the carbon+ yet because I must go to a table tennis club to play. The part about less control has me worried that I may have overstepped my skill level a bit. We shall see what happens. I may need to step down a model I don't know....

I own a 2007 V STROM .. just like the one on this show .. with less than 4000 miles. Lately I’ve been having problems with the clutch/gear shifting.. I took the bike to a shop and they adjusted the clutch grip on the left bar.. The round silver looking thing.. numbered 1-4 was adjusted and set at 4… It worked initially, then soon afterwards, it started doing the same thing. I start the M /C, go from neutral down to 1st gear ( with my foot while releasing the hand clutch gradually). The engine only raves, and the MC does not move. I try the same at different gear level..the results are the same. I have adjusted the settings on the clutch several times.. nothing changes.. Sometimes, I get lucky One out of fifteen times when this crazy thing happens.. I’m not mechanically inclined and finding a good mechanic in my area is like PASSING A BILL THROUGH THE CONGRESS.. I don’t want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere if this happens when I’m riding. Please refer me to a good reliable mechanic in CENTRAL TEXAS AREA..Between Belton and Georgetown.. Also, drop any suggestion on what could be wrong with my MC.. THANKS

Hi, that's a really good video. In the case of the sog powerassist multi-tool in the video, fixing the plane blade and the saw blade seems to be loose, so it doesn't fix well. Have you ever had a problem with using it or an unsafe experience unlike the first time you bought it?

Doesn't seem to be very secure. Someone with a 12mm socket and cordless drill could remove the rack, top box and contents and be gone in about 60 seconds.

Absolutely! That’s why I try to always cover my bike and lock the back wheell with a chain through the grab handles and the rear tire. But an angle grinder can go through that pretty quick so I have gps tracker on board with motion detection and never leave any valuables in the locked top box. Thieves will be thieves after all… 😄

I just got the 4" version of this, so it isn't exactly in need of maintenance. But I did apply a little bit of synthetic grease to the inside of the knife, since there seemed to be a tiny bit of friction keeping it from snapping out quickly. Works great now though! I also added a few tiny washers under the thumb stud to make it a bit easier to use. And it would have been nice to have a proper flipper tab on the back. I do agree though. The quillions should really be angled in the opposite way they are.

Nice! As a vsrom owner who is interested in getting a goldwing, could you tell me how it compares especially comfort wise?
@BlazinBlades6 ай бұрын
My older Goldwings were not as comfortable to ride as the Vstrom. Mid controls on a low seat height requires exceptional suspension to compensate (not plush enough) With tall suspension and tall seat height you get more leg room, a better quality ride on all roads plus the added benefit of light off road duties which are a breeze on a V Strom 🍻🍻

So since I’m starting, I was going to buy a cheap one, but found a low price Stiga Evolution for $25. with a case and went for it.
