I have a FT job, so I am limited to late nights and/or weekends for my drawing. I could sit with my art supplies for hours! I love seeing the finished product and have a feeling of accomplishment and pride in my work.

Thanks for this series of tutorials. It took me a while to complete as, after the candy cane, this was my first try at pastel pencils. I couldn't get white stokes like you so Father Christmas is a bit duller but still looks great (to me!) I think my issue may be the paper (Canson Velvet) with the hard Pitt pencils - but I will keep trying

Thanks for the breakdown. It is far less daunting when you take it step by step. I can't get my Pitt white to look anything like yours perhaps because I'm using Canson velvet paper or perhaps your whites are a lot softer

May I ask what computerprogram you use ? And thank you for this great video

This white landscape has also become beautiful. Not as nice as yours but I'm satisfied. I learn something new every time. I have to keep practicing not to press too hard on the pencils because the paper is saturated too quickly. So I'm already looking forward to the next one. 🙂
